He was too pure for this world
So that's what faith in humanity looks like. It's beautiful.
We never deserved this man, but thankfully were given him.
@TheMonkeyGod, we didn't, not even a little.
His mother knit ALL his sweaters, he was also colorblind but didn't care.
“You are not the type of person Mr. Rogers thought you could be.”
Thanks FunnyPics, and community, for giving me the best insult I have ever seen.
@Cringer, haha I remember that
Anyone else crying? I'm crying.
Can we try and introduce a system in schools where students just spend an hour of the day (or a single period) watching 1-2 episodes of Mr. Rogers and discuss the meanings and lessons behind the episode(s)?
@Anonymous Jack III, sounds like religion to me. And we all know how autistic schools get about that.
As a kid I never really liked watching #mrrogers because I thought most of the segments of him touring different places was boring, and in the land of make believe a lot of those puppets looked creepy (especially Lady Elaine Fairchild, and it didn't help that she acted incredibly bitchy nearly every episode). But nowadays when I watch it it feels incredibly relaxing, and I really enjoy the features where he talks to people who explain how things work since they're quite informative. Kind of weird how it was targeted towards children but I'm enjoying it a lot more now as an adult. Where I live it only come on tv Sundays at 10 am, so I try to watch it whenever I get the chance
What did we do to deserve Mr. Rogers?
@DistractedDingo, we showed potential.
Live in his hometown. We have a nice statue of him on a bench.
Im crying on the toilet listening to xxx
So we should lynch anyone who downvoted this right? Cause if you did you are the spawn of satan.
What monster downvoted Mr. Rogers?
@elfgirl, maybe some info was fake? Idk, it wasn't me and I wonder. The first part and the geniunity, I know is true. But towards the end, I speculate.
He also was a fan of the Peruvian marching power..
Who left this bowl of onions here?
A true yinzer
I totally didn’t tear up. I remember actually crying as a child when I heard and Rodgers had died I was about 7 or 8

@Pam 2076, would Mr. Rogers want that?
@Empshok, no but I'm not as good a person as Mr Rogers lol
@Pam 2076, be who he would want you to be. Don't shoot a downvoter today.
“Most people have head of Koko”
He was a Presbyterian pastor. I was raised Presbyterian and wished for him to come visit my home church. Never happened.
