@Elmarkador of Russia, technically, the us navy invented it for private use as a form of easy communication. But Bill Gates, an AMERICAN invented the World Wide Web. Thus the internet. He also invented the computer before that.

IEEE, the company responsible for 802.11 and 802.3 standards (wifi and Ethernet) is also an American org in New York. The OSI model on the other hand was made in the 80s by ISO (international org) which is the concept of networks used world wide. The Internet the worlds largest wide area network which by definition is just two or more local area networks

Well the thing is none of that is true Charles Babbage and Alan Turing created the computer both English the founder of the World Wide Web Tim Berbers Lee is also English as for electricity well it was discovered by Michael faraday but utilised by an American so overall this post is completely factually incorrect and really not right at all. Not hating just letting you know it's wrong.

Ben Franklin deserves a lot of credit concerning electricity (and I'm a big-time lover of our great nation, the US of A), but Nikolai Tesla definitely deserves more credit.
