She doesn’t know what I’m going on about
Ok, some of these memes I really agree with what Trump is holding, especially the socks being better than naked one.
Okay but what even was the original context to this? What did Trump hand over to earn that look?
@Branth, his feet pics. Where do you think he got his riches from?
@Branth, the reporter basically said the US has the highest amount of COVID 19 deaths per capita, which pretty much all data supports with the US having about 25% of the worlds deaths. Trump said not if you look at these charts, and handed over graphs that showed deaths per case, showing that other countries have higher proportion of people dying per case, such as Brazil, and a few other countries. Both stats are true, but one is misleading. The US has fewer deaths per case than the world because 1, the US has had greatly more cases than almost anywhere else so the denominator is very large, and 2 because the IS has a better health system than say Haiti for example, which cannot test as much or save as many at risk patients (smaller denominator, larger numerator). The thing is you would expect the US to be able to treat diseases better than India or Brazil that have more people per hospital, but you wouldn’t expect it to be so much worse at deaths per capita than say Germany or France
@Spetsnaz , continued... because they have similar healthcare infrastructure. The difference between the stats is where the bar is set for expectations in the US. In the journalist stat, it shows the US is doing considerably worse than similarly wealthy countries that acted faster and harder to limit COVID19s spread. This makes trump look quite bad, as it highlights that leadership was the biggest difference (similar wealth per capita, health infrastructure, industry). The other stat shows that the US healthcare system is better compared to the average of the rest of the world, which at a glance makes US response look good. But the bar of expectations for US response is quite low there, to just be better than 50% of the world, one would already expect that for a country that makes up 5 times more of the worlds GDP than its population is. (15% world GDP, roughly 3-4% its population) and that the US near best in the world in its response to this crisis rather than being next to Nicaragua
Why is he tho??? 🤔
