how could the captain have done this to us
Ensign in the navy here. So if a Commander is in charge of a ship he's just called Captain as a formality. The more you know
@dammitdale, as I recall most ship captains aren't actually the rank captain are they?
@Honaw Fierceclaw, just depends on what kind of ship it is. I've met sub drivers who are the Commanding officer as commanders, but the only exception is there must be a flag officer on aircraft carriers. I just commissioned in may, but my ROTC COs last post was the USS Constitution and he was a Captain. It's really just who's available to be reassigned really
@dammitdale, former second class petty officer here, there are no captains of cereal bowls and I've yet to see him on a ship....
@the red cowboy, captains of cereal bowls are in the coast guard, it's their other class of ship besides bathtub
@dammitdale, thank you for the clarification!
Commander crunch is an even better name anyhow
@haarknir, rumour as it, in 2020 he hopes to run for the oval office and be elected Commander in Chief Crunch
@haarknir, you shut your filthy whore mouth
Well what if his first name is Cap'n? Then this is Commander Cap'n Crunch
@DwayneTheCockJohnson, Just like Mr. Doctor Strange
Problem is that's not where rank goes.
Damn Count Chocula and his photoshop skills
Well he only had three fingers... If we let that slide, we can let the insignia slide.
I guess the "t" second "a" and an "i" cost too much to print.
He's a phony! A BIG FAT PHONY!!
After finding out his canonical name is Horatio, this is nothing.
