Does he find a new nickel every time he gets confused by something new, or when he gets confused by something does he keep finding nickels until he stops being confused? Because after the third nickel or so, his confusion would be why he is finding so many nickels. Finding a fourth nickel won’t really confuse him all that much, so the cycle will break quickly.
