Currently playing the Outer Worlds. If you enjoyed NV you should love this too.
@A Math Dealer, I just started it this evening myself, and I may have stayed up 1am playing even though I have to work tomorrow morning..
@A Math Dealer, Yo one gamer to another, thank you so much for supporting Obsidian, we gotta keep them alive. I was thinking on holding off until it comes to steam (I think they released it as an epic exclusive for now, but I might be wrong about that), but I really want to get a copy now so they won't get crushed from slow sales. Do my part to let good game devs know that they do a great job and that their work is appreciated. That and of course the game is fvcking awesome, Fallout in space.
@GayShjtSniper, I like it. It has kind of the look of Bioshock with the feel of New Vegas. Put that alongside traveling between planets and it's amazazing.
@A Math Dealer, i too am enjoying it, but all fairness i pray bethesda gets their sh!t straight and make a decent NEXT fallout 5 and TES 6 (im gonna pretend 76 never existed)
@GayShjtSniper, unless you really really have to have it on steam, you can also get it on the Microsoft store on pc (it's also included if you have game pass on pc) that way you can play it now but not support epic.
@OmegaExceed, I think after the atomic failure that was 76, I'm done with Bethesda until they prove they actually give a shjt again. Pretending it never happened is too close to forgiving them.
@A Math Dealer, you have a point there, but i cant help but have hope 3 meant a lot to me and so did oblivion
@GayShjtSniper, You can buy it on the windows store.
@GayShjtSniper, I bought it on ps4 and switch because they definitely deserve the money for making a fantastic game
@OmegaExceed, I’m also very excited for Starfield. Hopefully that’s a hit
Why is josh looking like Pablo Escorbar
You know, I really, truly hate to say it, but I got the Outer Worlds earlier today and I didn't like it as much as I thought I would. Granted I had pretty high expectations and I only played it for 2 hours (so I could have the chance to refund it if need be), but I thought that from what I played that it was kind of bare bones. I didn't like that to have the "hardcore mode" where you need to eat, drink water and sleep has to be on a difficulty where it's very tough to deal damage to enemies and you get your ass handed to you regularly unless you run from fights against only 2 enemies. The movement feels uncomfortably stiff, definitely not as fluid as it was in NV (I may be a little spoiled on move mechanics from playing a lot of BL3 lately). And I think that the arsenal of weapons isn't very broad either. But again, I only played 2 hours of it, so I might be wrong on some areas, but my first impression was that this is Obsidian's Fallout 4 (as far as the hype it generated).
@GayShjtSniper, it’s honestly a hard start and even off hardcore mode I found myself dying frequently at the start if I just ran in and even if I didn’t. For weapon variety it does get more diverse later on but not a huge amount or at least from what I’ve seen.
Brotherhood for life!
