Hey my name is Julia! It’s not that spectacular but I don’t see my name pop up very often
Let me in!! LET ME INNN!
My job brings me into proximity of bedbugs all too goddamn often, and it’s an increasing issue. I’ve had to literally pick them off a guy who was sitting in my car.
@Berntley, what is your job?
@Not him again, I work in community mental health. So on top of people already having some cognitive issues, not being able to identify what may be happening when they start seeing these little bugs here and there, there can also be a factor of home upkeep that, while not directly a preventative measure for bedbugs, can certainly stave off spread and infestation to some degree, as well as to identify the problem early enough that you don’t have a massive undertaking in order to alleviate the problem.
@Berntley, Well I don’t like this one bit...
@Trance Gemini, Imagine how I feel. And my company has no “official” protocol for this, but I’ll straight up tell my clients and my supervisors they aren’t allowed in my car again until they get documentation that their apartment has been treated and bedbug free for six weeks.
