I remember when I couldn’t watch HBO (which I subscribe to) on my PS4 (which I own) because my internet provider was Comcast and Sony had not (according to Comcast) “cooperated with requirements” (i.e. paid Comcast) and so they blocked that content (which I had legal access to) from being accessible to me on that platform. After the Net Neutrality reg went into play everything suddenly got fixed, but in a way I’m thankful to have a real-life experience I can refer to as a way to explain what an internet w/o NN would be like.
@CunningLinguist, I really hope Doctor Kreiger can see this comment of yours so he can learn why his head is up his ass about Net Neutrality. It’s not fear mongering when there are so many real world examples of companies abusing the internet for profit.
