Looks black and blue to me.
@onetoendall, *softly* don’t.
@onetoendall, *sprays you with a bottle* no! Bad!!
@onetoendall, *hardly* do
@onetoendall, -traumatic flash back to being the only colourblind person in classes- *softly* dont
@onetoendall, noo it's deffo white and gold
@onetoendall, no white and gold.
One second she's a nice neighbor, the next she's stealing your bike
But can it turn transparent
@Smokey the Sausage,
You mean like Caitlyn Jenner?
Wait, sorry, that’s transgender
@Bow To Your Senpai, Yeah, he’s talking about Jeffrey Tambor.
I think that's E-ink. New display tech. Black and white, but low power draw, and flexible, almost like paper.
@KingofFunnypics, I'll be more interested when we can have it change to whatever color we want. But then we're gonna have to charge our clothes.
@KingofFunnypics, e-ink isn’t that new, it’s a few years old at the very least
Is that battery operated? Can’t imagine the fabric is too flexible. Looks like it chafes around the knees.
Pretty dope though.
@Sambob, it looks like she’s wearing it over a sweater like an apron
@Sambob, yes! I’m a seamstress- this is obviously super, super cool but it’s definitely not a fabric. You can see by her armpit that there’s no seems- there’s a gap between panels. There’s definitely just several strips of thin, flexible screen or something. But it probably has real possibilities for fashion. I can see Rihanna or someone wearing something cool like this in like, five years. Probably will never be accessible on the consumer level. They did a 3-d printed bra/corset at the 2013 or ‘14 Vic secret show, I think this tech could be like that. Super cool runway thing, but never a real possibility for laypeople.
@shnickelfritz, sorry for the long comment, I just think this stuff is super interesting! Especially after seeing the spray paint shirt on this app several times.
@shnickelfritz, oh no, I don’t mind at all, it actually made me smile cuz I can clearly tell you’re into it. Materials interest me from a science stand point, like the fabric that can obscure flash photography, so this peaked my interest. I can imagine filigree design sprouting and Growing in a dress here and there and think “wow, the future looks good.”
Octo camo Metal Gear
Wonder if it keeps doing that once you take it off
The future is now
Dress? Active camouflage? Metal gear?
I need this
