If David lynch says that primary colors are bulls*it then so be it. No explanation needed
@Green stream, If David Lynch says primary colors are bullshjt, do NOT ask him to elaborate, because he'll probably give you nightmares as an answer.
Well I mean, we have three color cones in our eyes, red, blue, and yellow, so those are OUR primary colors, but theoretically, there could be more out there and there probably is. But it's impossible for us to even imagine these unknown colors.
@aminalFacks, The color receptors in our eyes are actually red, green, and blue. That's why monitors have rgb sub-pixels ^_^
@xir1111011, ah, thank you for correcting me.
Well now you have my attention. You can't leave me hanging like that...
@ThePandaPool , it’s because in actuality, there are two types of primary colors. Additive colors (light) are green, red, blue. Subtractive (pigment) are magenta, cyan, and yellow. So the concept of the primary colors red, blue, and yellow is fine for art, but there is no science behind them
@Patamon, huh neat
@Patamon, ...*eye twitch*
You mean Red, Green, and Blue, in that order?
@mas2de, I mean... typically, sure. But in any system, color hex values are standard as #RRGGBB
@xir1111011, I wasn’t aware that there was a specific order. I’m going off of my physics class in high school and forgot that hex values were a thing
@Patamon, both additive and subtractive apply to light.
@Patamon, As an artist... even for art you should stick with cmyk. Usually works out better.
Arguing on the internet 2018....
Well ok... next question I guess
I love this meme.
