Tha hell ever!!! I went three years with out health insurance bc I couldn’t afford it at the time. Until Obama passed that I would be penalized for not having it. So there I went looking for one
@seeUpee, thats sucks my dude
@OmegaExceed, it was all part of the struggle bro... making it in this awesome country. I wouldn’t have changed a thing
@seeUpee, I lost my job and insurance with it, got hired a month later at a new place but of course there’s only a small window to get insurance in November. then come tax time and I had to pay a fine for not having insurance because I lost my job. That shît pissed me off to no end
@seeUpee, i think the penalty was removed for not having insurance now
@Richard Cypher, oh man! I was mad as hell I had to give in too. The fine wasn’t big but is just the whole thought of been punished about it. Didn’t want to give them the satisfaction. Like instead of helping me as I was working hard in starting a business by opening up incentives it was the complete opposite. I feel ya
@seeUpee, especially since it’s basically “oh you lost your job and are broke now? Can’t get insurance until November, 6 months away? Well you better buy one of our government health plans within 14 days.” But like I’m broke and jobless. Dafuq am I going to use to pay for that
@seeUpee, i honestly wish i could go three years without health insurance. Sadly now im type 1 diabetic and cant even go a day without multiple injections, so 26 will be a fun time
@gettinitfosho, it wasn’t fun, I was extra on not getting sick. Luckily I didn’t get injured as well. I’m sorry to hear that man, I seen the struggle first hand with a friend.
@seeUpee, yeah I wish I could pull that off but I've got Crohn's and without insurance I'd be paying $1000 a week to not die. It's one of those drugs that's just unnecessarily expensive to milk the insurance companies
@seeUpee, voting matters
@seeUpee, it was such a half @ss plan. What America needs is universal healthcare like the rest of the d@mn world.
@slapmysalami, ya because we have Trump now and not obummer
Is this a joke that I'm to Canadian to understand?
@BOBTHEDESTROYER, love the downvotes, someone out there just thinking “f*ck you for proving your that system could work and be beneficial, We’re just gonna keep making ours worse”
*laughs in Canadian*
@hazardous1986, how does one laugh while saying sorry and drinking maple syrup?
@BigJohnson86, lots of gurgling noises with the occasional gag

@Drunk Pantless Uncle, YAS! Slay gurl!
@Hot Coffee, *finger z snap*
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, just vote republican. They deregulate everything without consequences. No one deserves healthcare.
@griffinstorme, everyone deserves choices. Capitalism results in value. There will always be a new company looking to steal customs from another company with better prices or more value. That's why you can go to a supermarket and buy everything from groceries to clothes for cheaper instead if a bunch of small stores with higher mark-ups. Having a choice whether to have minimal heatlth coverage (or none at all) if your a healthy person or a more comprehensive plan for someone that needs more coverage is better than the government telling you what you need and how much you're going to pay. Crawl back in your hole, commie.
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, or the government deciding if you are worth the investment to treat you or when you are allowed to get treated.
Sorry, is this some American joke I'm too English/Canadian to understand?
Not too late for an abortion.
Or hear me out. If at 25 you’re still fvcking life up so bad you have nothing maybe you should join the fvcking military. Or just stop making bad choices as a New Years resolution.
I thought 26 year olds wanted to die, that’s all they talk about
You could get a job and get insurance through them. I pay like $60 a check
@Elmato, not necessarily. My previous job didn’t offer insurance so I ended up paying significantly more on my own
Natural selection at its finest.
Figures, you can't be drafted at 26, but you have to get your own insurance.
I don't believe that man is 26. But who am I to argue with what he identifies as? (Shrugs)
I need brain surgery and I turn 26 in a few months. So screwed
