You have $1.47?
@twopotatoes, look at this rich bjtch over here with $1.47 in the bank. You aint gotta flex like that Jaee
I definetly wouldn’t post this fact on my social media I would be rather ashamed to be honest.
@George Feeny, a lot of people I know keep the majority of their money in savings and take out money as needed or depending on how many times per month their bank allows. Having $1.67 in your account doesn't mean that's all you have, so imo there's no real reason to be embarrassed by it.
@BIessthefaII, why would you go through the hassle of juggling money around your savings when it makes .5% in there?
@George Feeny, as a recently-out-of-college millennial with crippling debt: we arent ashamed of our poverty. its more of a joke to us. borderline a badge of honor. its why my generation has no qualms about sharing our salary, i make 75k/yr now fyi. give an 18 yr old 30k in debt/yr and watch them get jaded about all things finance
@BIessthefaII, that honestly just seems silly. Why would anyone put all their money in savings and have to deal with moving it around to use it.
My bank only lets me do like 3 transfers a month unless I use their atm so it would be a huge hassle.
@CrazyRightWinger, 5%? Where the f you getting 5%! I'm lucky if I can find 0.5% in a saving account
@Fallout267, I put .5
@CrazyRightWinger, ah yeah, it moved to a new line after the . So it looked like it was just 5.
@BIessthefaII, but banks penalize you for doing that You're only allowed so many withdrawals a month.
