Remember when ghostbusters was funny? And not just a bunch of kinda crappy female “comedians” improvising the whole time? Good times
@Lord Cthulhu, Pepperidge farm remembers
@Lord Cthulhu, at least Chris Hemsworth was funny.
The actor who played said dick jokingly hates how everyone in public tells him that joke
@megamanx181x, he also got assaulted by people who were angry that his character tried to shut down the ghostbusters
@Sexy Homunculus, he was?? Aww come on it’s a character
@megamanx181x, it also doesn’t help that he played the invasive journalist in the first couple of Die Hard movies
@Sexy Homunculus, I feel that if an actor can bring this feeling out of a viewer, he did an amazing job. Sure, it might be annoying or scary, but I would proud that people think that I am genuinely a dick.
@Emp4th, would you be proud if I generally think you're a dick
@occasionalmutant, if that was the character I played and my acting made you think I was a dick, then yes.
Kind of like Joaquin Phoenix in gladiator. I really hated him for a long time until I realized it was the character I hated and my feelings were because he did such an amazing job with an evil character.
@Sexy Homunculus, he plays a great asshole
@megamanx181x, the pussy guy in saving private ryan wasnt able to find more work because he was so hated for his excellent portrayal.
@Runnin with scissors, aww man that sucks. Again it’s just a role but makes such an impact
@megamanx181x, ya it's kinda sad though that as an actor you have to be careful of taking parts that can shed you in a terrible light if you portray them too well.
The writing was pure gold.
@admiral dingus, I believe Bill Murray improvised the line, but I could be wrong. He improvised most of his way through that movie.
Well that's what I heard!!!
@bigmaclevel3, I'm gonna get him a fruit basket.
They used to dub this with ‘Twinkie’ when it was on TV back in the day
