I mean, dafuq is Dare Devil gonna do? Listen to half the other hero's turn to dust? Jessica Jones will probably just be another bitch for Thanos to choke. Frank castle can shoot all he wants, if marvel villains were susceptible to bullets, the cops could probably handle them on their own. Luke cage may actually be useful....maybe. iron fist would probably get a scene where he goes to use his iron fist on Thanos, and Thanos goes to punch with the gauntlet, then iron fist fvckin explodes. And Agents of shield are essentially glorified cops, they'd be getting offed left and right,
@aminalFacks, you do need to admit that even if they are ineffective, rocket and Frank Castle could make for pretty great entertainment.
@ThePandaPool , agreed, they would definitely bring alot of comedic relief to the table.
@aminalFacks, I think they would bring good action too. I could be biased though. I really was enjoying rocket and bucky and felt like their interaction abed fight scenes were cut unfairly short.
@Saddle, Marvel went on to say that development for the shows is a much quicker process, allowing the shows to integrate plot points from the movies. But because shows develop so quickly, it makes it much more difficult to include show fallout or plot points in the movies. If something happens in a show that has a huge effect on an upcoming movie, they are not going to stop filming to figure out how they’re going to fit something in. I hope that was a good explanation. If it wasn’t and you read to the end, here’s your reward.....boobs
@Glenchi, I skipped to the end :-P
Agents of shield was actually battling their big bad in Chicago during the events of Infinity War
Anybody know why this is?
@Tethyx, I have a hopeful theory.
The giant cast of Infinity War is too big to include the TV show. But what if Marvel plans to include them in the sequel. Since a lot of Avengers disappeared. It could be a smart way to include the TV show character's.
@Tethyx, in Marvel's best explanation the movies have an effect on the shows but the shows have no effect on the movies. It's dumb but that's their official statement
@Tethyx, I’m sure the events of IF will be addressed in each show. I’m sure some of the tv hero’s likely went in the snap as well or at least some of there loved oens
@Saddle, agents of shield had an effect in age of Ultron
@Saddle, that’s not how continuity works
@Saddle, makes sense. I'd think that the people who watch the shows also watch the movies but people who watch the movies don't always watch the shows. It's much easier and more than likely enjoyable to go see a 2 and a half hour high budget movie with some of holllywoods best than a show with less of a budget and less known actors that's also much longer. For the people who don't watch the shows they would be confused at the "new" characters.
@Lord Palpatine, Doubtful that'll happen honestly. My theory is that Tony gets the gauntlet/stones, in a similar way to the comic, and when he uses it to rewrite the damage that Thanos did, he brings back those Thanos killed but also inadvertently combines two or more separate universes that are similar but with some differences. This way the MCU could introduce all the characters they got from Fox (if I remember right, they said mutants don't exist in the current MCU or something like that) and could also recast any characters whose actor's contracts weren't renewed or didn't show interest (I read somewhere that Avengers 4 would be Chris Evans' last outing as Captain America but not sure how accurate that was).
Stupid question but are the tv shows and the movies made by the same production company
