@MANTHEHARPOON, no, we are the greatest, if you bring up a special ops type command, your arguement will be invalid. Bring up an army from any country. Full force against the marines and they won't win. No country has a better air and ground force and better equipment and training than the marines. No one.

@ARC trooper 99, The US Army has SFOD-D, which is held as high as the SEALS. One million army soldiers going full force on 200,000 marines. That's only counting the US. If only China were to go full force against the marines, that would be two million soldiers up against 200,000 marines. Marines aren't gods of war. They know how to fight, but they aren't invincible.

@MANTHEHARPOON, this argument is pointless. The us armed forces is compartmentalized by domain specialization. Each unit has a role. Marines are shock infantry, meant to be used for swift, decisive strikes usually on amphibious platforms. SFO-Ds are unconventional warfare specialists, like the Green Berets. Delta Force and SEALS are counter-terror for the most part. Every one has a role, but in an offensive scenario in open combat, the marines are really, really good.
I would still put money on South Korea winning.
