Seriously this is fantastic
@Not A Wolf, could you maybe explain to a non-fallout player?
@theshadosnipe, There is an in-game cardgame called 'Caravan'. Named after the creators, caravaneers who often find themselves sitting around doing nothing due to other events in the story. It fits in great with the Vegas games that you can also play, blackjack, slots, poker, etc. Caravan, however, is completely made up, and therefore most players prefer to play games they know so they can win more money. I am a perfect example of someone who has an ungodly amount of time put into the game with no understanding of Caravan, despite my attempts.
@Reach4God, ive played like a total of 10 games of caravanand lost them all
@Reach4God, ah, I did know that but I'm that thick I didn't make the connection
@Reach4God, the Wikipedia page describes the game fairly well, I was able to start winning after reading it
Gravity Falls and Fallout New Vegas? Automatically my new favorite thing on the internet.
I fücking hate that card game. It’s not worth the time to master. The people you play it against have nothing interesting to say, the game itself is uninspired and boring, and the profit margins are REALLY low. You could spend an hour playing Caravan, winning every game, and not win enough caps for a single implant.
Max out luck, and play blackjack. Double down on every hand dealt, and reload the save if you go down more than 1,000 caps. You’ll be banned from every casino within thirty minutes.
@I Are Lebo, A fellow man of culture i see.
If you have 1000 hours and dont know how to play caravan, I'd say you're missing out on a pretty fun card game
@Doctor Bees, and id say i was saving my time for better things. When in reality im just a dumbee
@Doctor Bees, I literally do have thousands of hours and still have yet to learn the mechanics. Gwent is fun tho.
@Doctor Bees, this is mei have tons of hours i mix and match mods but my norm is project navada+fook monster mod+visual mods+ some sprinkles of what catches my eye to this day 1200hrs no idea how to do caravan if it doesnt crash it first
@Doctor Bees, I learned how to play it for the achievment. Then forgot on my next playthrough
@A Math Dealer, same here never could figure it out or want to sink time into it. I wish they had like a phone game for Gwent. That was fun
I would pay all the money for a crossover, but like pg rated
Once I looked up a guide on how to play and what kind of deck to build and then proceeded to clean out the entire Mojave. Good times. I also had 10 Luck so I cleaned out Casinos too until they kicked me out
I’m still unsure.
I think it’s to build your caravans up faster than your opponent to 26 value. Ace through 10 are face value. You have to build in ascending or descending order. Jack removes the card it’s set on, queens swap the ascending/descending path, kings double the value of the card they’re placed on. You can place jacks, queens, and kings on your opponents caravans too
Wow, way to call us out like that!
It seriously took me over 6 years until I finally learned how to play caravan
@Soy un Ranchero, was it worth it?
@Iswearimfunny, pretty much, I can’t believe it took me that long fo get the trophies for them. The fallout wiki does a pretty good job explaining how to play
