The only good thing is if you cut off a limb with a lightsaber it cauterizes it and you won’t have the Acid blood spraying all over you, but other than that you’re screwed.
@Rileyh212, cauterization normally takes time to properly set up. A quick swipe would definitely leave a singed wound, but some arteries would probably have enough blood pressure to still shoot out. The reason we don't see it in SW is because blood in movies tends to cause higher ratings.
If I were a Jedi, I'd wield an intensely bright lightsaber while wearing welding glasses. I'd still be able to see, but my opponent would not.
Or maybe use a lightsaber with a strobe effect. In case my opponent is prone to seizures.
