Parenting: you're doing it right
@Bear Arms , my faith in humanity has been restored
@Captain Britain, mine too :')
If only more parents were like this the world would be a better place.
@Voltorb, so true
Give these guys a medal!
This is awesome and I really want to be that kind of dad when the time comes. But being an older brother of a 10-year-old who still strongly believes in Santa, I can understand that the more they believe, the more it's going to hurt when they find out. I don't mean to be a downer. This parent is awesome and that kid's dreams are coming true. But it's going to really suck when he finds out. Sorry for the long post.
@Lord Tator, I dunno, when I found out I didn't really care I was just glad I had the memories of thinking so
@18bluecat, yeah same here... I mean once I found out I realized that I had been kind of stupid not to notice but it was nice to see what my parents had done to keep me happy
@Lord Tator, I never had stuff like that told to me. There was no sudden heartbreaking reveal- I just slowly realized Santa didn't exist.
Now that is a good dad!
@About4001llamas, Or mom.
@Aperture Employee, hi
Then there's my mom, the mom who yells at her son for having too many wrong answers on the test he got 99 of 107 right, the best in his grade.
These people are parents of the year! Give them a medal!
You are doing parenting right.

Doctor Who is a bad show.
@unpopular opinions, Read the name before you down vote
@unpopular opinions, Sorry, didn't see the name
This will be my son someday
@Ironhomie, are you going to kidnap that child..?
When you come across a picture that you have liked a long time ago in the random section.
The only sad thing left is how heartbroken he will be when he finds out that his parents did this
This makes me happy and i actually wish/hopes he gets to meet one of the doctor whos someday
Well at least they aren't deluding him with the belief that Santa is real and backing that up. I can't tell if this is better or worse
He did this because he's a good parent ... And sex is guaranteed
These guys are to parenting what Tarantino is to directing
just imagine how he would feel when he finds out about the doctor not being real
@NoTimeToExplain, what do you mean not real? He's real. He's real, damn it.
I don't know if this is extremely cruel or extremely good parenting
No one is going to read the paragraph
@Falcon Lover, I will
Anyone else only read the highlighted part?
I feel like I'm committing a crime by not watching doctor who
This warms my heart.
I was waiting for this to take a tragic turn
