Believe it or not, there was a time where not everything was offensive and people just moved on
@Richard Cypher, still wtf were they thinking when they made this?
@sexyvampireprincess, thinking about how awesome weapon shaped candy dispensers are
@Richard Cypher, back in the early 90s we had toy guns for everything. Candy dispenser, water gun, confetti guns, BB gun, etc. And cops didnt shoot us on sight
@Dknessfalls, it's true, I loved the 90s.
@Dknessfalls, and candy cigarettes. There's a store near my house that still sells them. Sweet, sweet pretend cancer.
@ TouchMyCatEars, I used to love those. Once they became controversial, they started just calling them candy stix, and left out the red dye at the end to make it look like it was lit.
@Berntley, Hmm, now I'm curious. I'll have to get a better look at the box next time I'm in that store to see if they say candy stix or not. I might just buy a pack to see if the tips are red too.
@ TouchMyCatEars, they probably don’t make them anymore. It’s been about twenty years since I checked. There’s a lot better candy now, anyway. All they were was basically powdered sugar held together by wax or some shît.
@Richard Cypher, I don't see it as an offensive issue, but a safety issue. What if a little kid, or someone older who gets completely wasted one night, picks up a real gun thinking it's a pez dispenser?
@MrJojo, Then Darwin has done his job if someone did that. Should always keep a gun in a safe place. Not out and about where you would confuse it with a Pez descender. Let alone where a kid can get it.
@Seohn, I understand that and completely agree but I'm sure you know that doesn't always happen. Little kids get their hands on guns quite often unfortunately. Don't get me wrong I'm VERY pro gun, but I just think making a pretty realistic looking gun pez dispenser is just a bad idea all around, considering the targeted consumers are most likely kids
@MrJojo, I blame that on the parents when kids get their hands on guns.
And because I’m able to put blame where it supposed to be I don’t see anything wrong with the Pez dispenser looking like a gun. It has nothing to do with people accidentally shooting themselves. Or accidentally getting their hands on a real gun.
So it should not be held accountable for somebody else’s stupidity all because it looks like gun. And it’s clearly made of plastic and very light compared to a real gun.
While I do agree and understand that people do stupid things. I don’t blame something else for the actions of the stupid people.
I’m not without empathy. But I do believe that if someone doesn’t take responsibility for their own safety then they bring it on themself and are not deserving of as much empathy. For example people who don’t evacuate for hurricane because they want to ride it out. I can’t feel bad for them. All I can say is it’s unfortunate for them.
@Richard Cypher, my granddad always got me this gun that you put caps in and when you shot it, it would make a popping noise, it was awesome.
@HaveAGoldStar, a cap gun lol
And of course it's gonna be a collectable, and impossible to find.
@ThePandaPool , only because most of them have been confiscated by the police.
Time for that sweet sweet sugary release...
@megamanx181x, I'm just gunna be dissappointed when it doesn't kill me...
@Gadget, oh it’s killing you all right. Slowly and with diabetes. Unless of course you choke on it. Then slightly faster and with asphyxiation.
Replace the school shooter's gun with the pez gun
@SqurtieMan, Fun the whole family can enjoy
Good old pez, prepping our kids for the future
But who ever ate a pez directly from the didpenser anyway? Its a really awkward angle.
alright pez-head, you'rw time is up
Where can i get one?
