i thought it was gen z who ate the tide pods
@slapmysalami, it is, people think millennials such as myself are all still 16 yet the youngest millennial is like 18. Gen z does the stupid stuff, millennials are just depressed and swimming in debt.
@EdgierThe joker, Actually since millennials are people born between 81 and 96, the youngest millennials are 23 at this point.
@NotFlat, no one really agrees on what a millennial is. Seen like 81-95 and 81-2003. If 81-96 is the actual age group then I am the youngest millennial that be me.
@slapmysalami, it's also Gen Z who invented this phrase.
@EdgierThe joker, that's the first i've heard of it going as far as 2003. 2 years after 9/11
@slapmysalami, it might have been 2001 idk like I said I’ve like never got a concert year span. For me at least to be considered a millennial you have to remember the purple hienz ketchup
@EdgierThe joker, the youngest millenials are 23. The cut off was 1996.
@EdgierThe joker, ill go hy what wikipedia tells me.
@BlazingBowman, the thing is, generations are always iffy about the change. There are usually 2 years between generations that doesn't identify with either that fall in the 97-98 range. People born there are generally young enough to relate to both generations, yet not be completely like either generation.
Born in 97 here, was preteen when the iPod iTouch iPhone were coming out. So I'm not necessarily gen z who grew up with this stuff to be an "iGeneration" (pseudonym for gen z), tide pod eating sheltered school shooting kid.
But while I also have lived without the internet, computers, watching VHS tapes recording on them, sitting through the guide channel. Back when 90s cartoons were just ending.
Yet I had no clue what pogs were, was never into the card games, and owned my first touch phone at 16.
So I cant identify with either
@Tentastic, sh!t dude i know how you feel born in 97 myself.
@BlazingBowman, I was born in 96, and I feel more like Gen z because I just really don’t think I had a similar growing up experience to someone who was born in 1981. Like the oldest millennials were 15 when I was born, and so much changed in that time
Such a boomer comic to make them a millennial not gen Z
This cartoon is all over the place. I mean even the dude inthe cartoon looks about 60+.
Pretty sure it’s mostly boomers and X-ers doing the pink hat thing with a spattering of fringe millennials and gen z participating.
I wonder what age the person who drew this comic is...
@jouze, Glenn Mccoy, born in 1965.
Actually anyone born after 96 is gen z, so I am a 24 yo millennial but my 21 and 19 brothers are Zimmer's.
I think the upper range is like late 70s early 80s
Funny enough, this is drawn by a Gen X guy
Millennial: ok boomer
Boomer: *outsized reaction, points out failings in our generation*
Does nobody remember “trust no one over thirty!?” Don’t piss off the old people because they’ll make us all draft dodgers, #omgnotabulletbag
ok glenn mccoy
