@DrSin, same dude, used to play a bunch of TTT on a server in GMod. I had an absolute blast. But then the server shut down and everyone kinda just drifted apart. But I’m still friends on steam with a bunch of them, even if we hardly talk. In fact I’m pretty sure I still have all my key binds I made of my favorite quotes from people on it.

I love how there are so many anime now about this very thing. A group of people eventually drift apart except for that 1 guy that eventually gets successful into the game.

@Z0IDBERG, it'll be the most complex deep and well paced anime of 13 episodes. I rewatched episode 1, and was like "damn this is happening episode 1? I thought this happened episode 3"

@DrSin, I disagree. Angel Beats, for me personally, was a very meh anime. That supposed twist ending absolutely ruined whatever supposed feels the anime had built up. Most of the "plot" has way to many holes in it to have any satisfying conclusion and the characters had 0 impact.

@DrSin, I was actually talking to @that1german about Angel Beats, he was the one who told me to check it out actually, and he agreed with me. I get what they were trying to do. I do. It just didn't work I guess. Maybe I'm just an old jaded cynical bastard but every emotional bead they tried to pull felt either ham fisted or outright fell flat. *🚫SPOILER WARNING AHEAD DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU'VE SEEN THE SHOW🚫* Not going to lie. The final scene with the graduation actually did have me feeling something at first but what emotional impact the episode had was taken out back and shot with that tremendously stupid twist. It literally killed what little bit of emotion the episode had for me up to that point and kinda left me overall disappointed with the show as a whole.

In hindsight i did think the baseball scene where he said he would 100% marry her despite her being a paraplegic and they had the little montage of their hypothetical life together? That was cute and endearing. But 2 good emotional scenes out of 13 entire episodes, in your supposedly intense emotional anime, is imho slightly disappointing 😔

@LaDarkProphet, see this is how I felt about “Your Lie In April” everyone was like I cried, me it was sad but not that bad, I guess it’s because I have lost friend while in Highschool ? I have had 3-4 friend pass away and maybe them disappearing and him just wanting to be with them and clutching on to them , hit home for me
