Well yeah because marvel considers creators and artists as “independent contractors”. I’m pretty sure it’s Steve Ditko’s estate. Personally I think the original creator and their families should get to retain rights to their creations and then license them out, but what do I know?
@Lord Cthulhu, correct
As a stock owner, I hope Disney wins. As a decent, moral human being, I hope Disney loses and is forced to pay out loads of money in a counter suit.
Man I love Disney content but fvck Disney for their unrelenting greed. the government needs to break them up they are getting too close to being a monopoly
Time to pay the creators families what is owed to them again, Disney can afford it
Good, maybe once it busts the creators can get away from the sh¡t editors that are basically making comics unreadable
Stan Lee is gay, cringe, Jewish, and not even funny
No one is buying “Stan’s spider man” printed on notebook paper from a back of a van. The character is nothing without the distribution, supplies, other People who worked on it, and hundreds of writers that have contributed over the years. You don’t bake a sandwich at your job at subway and claim creative rights for it.
