Not gonna lie. They had me in the first half.
I thought he was talking about an actual furry.
Ps: maybe you should learn from the smart good boy, and give a better incentive.
@TurtleBlink, as if the dog won't take the better human treats and then still accept the trash bear treats any way.
@Marida Cruz, interesting point. Get a robot dog. See if the bear can give the robot dog an incentive.
@TurtleBlink, if his son was an actual furry, this would have been amazing.
@TurtleBlink, that would be a great idea if there existed any robot dogs advanced enough to both understand what their job is and to carry it out. Unfortunately, the closest things we have to robot dogs right now barely look like dogs, can barely stand up or walk, have no way of defending themselves, and generally have to be controlled by humans.
@Marida Cruz, have you seen Boston dynamics robot dog though? Because you can mount a light machine gun to it and it can open doors
@gaemboi, and it has to be controlled by a human.
@Marida Cruz, given a set patrol area and basic if then commands to set its maintenance and charging needs it could work if there werent any humans around. Its not remote control but it also isn't sentient. Sentient robots are bad.
@gaemboi, is it available in Amazon yet?
@TurtleBlink, im sure you could buy one for a few hundred thousand dollars or maybe a few million.
@gaemboi, why are they bad? And can I make it my friend? Like iron giant. Haha
@TurtleBlink, ssentient robots are bad because skynet. They think faster than us and will go though any imaginable scenario to get around our rules. And if you program it it might act like a real dog but then again it doesnt have a head right now.
@gaemboi, a headless doggy? I can put a pumpkin!
Interesting. So if we push it enough we create a problem that would take us out? So it wouldn't be like futurama and make them think we are gods? Or like Bender Rodriges.
I knew it was too good to be true.
@TurtleBlink, put it this way, we make a robot that is capable of thinking and learning but incapable of emotion and tell it to defend itself and other humans that we define as good while it is supposed to stop other humans we see as bad. Eventually it might decide that both sides are bad. Or that humans are technically the only thing that would want to "kill" it. Therefore it will try to stop us.skynet
@Marida Cruz, i have given my dog dear antler a few times i got from hunting. I would be surprised if this dog took the treat over the antler
@jerriest jerry , I'm not saying the dog will take one over the other, I'm saying the dog will take both.
As someone with labs can confirm their love is easily bought through treats
You can love your pets. Of that I cannot argue or deny, but they are not your children.
That’s what I call a smart doggo
Well he’s clearly working for those Russian bears, he can’t be trusted no more
