My daughter loves it when I paint her nails. Then she says, "your turn daddy!" I say, "k." I can't deny her.
@Multiple personality, awww!! Daddying done right 😍 your daughter will always remember that!
@FinalRide, Yeah she will, when I was little my dad was cool (till I was 6) but when my parents got divorced he got with a terrible wicked lady (who is now my stepmom and has been for 10 years) and he just doesnt care about me anymore and I try to brush off the whole "daddy issues" thing but it gets hard and I'll always resent my dad for making me so dependant for attension despite me trying my best not to be. It's good seeing that though.
@Your Grandmas Tits, Been there dude. My dad's a cool guy but the women in his life seemed to enjoy torturing both him and my brother and I. Moving out when I did was the best decision I ever made in life.
@PoliticsSniper, *whispers* I'm a girl. But yeah i'm gonna move out next year! I cant wait
@Your Grandmas Tits, Lol "dude" is a unisexual term to me. Because "dudette" makes me sound like a fool. But just some advice: still love your father. Even if you can't stand the people around him. That's a bridge you'll want for a long time. Best of luck.
@PoliticsSniper, thank you
^ - ^
@Multiple personality, you sir, are amazing. Have all the medals and bad dad jokes
@Demon Dean, you sir, are the cool uncle everyone wishes they had, which is fvcking awesome
@Your Grandmas Tits, first of all, I didn't get the notification about your comment. I just got one about my comment from Demon Dean just now. I'm so sorry things worked out that way.
@Your Grandmas Tits, second. I am divorced that cheating hoe years ago and have had a girlfriend her and there. They always seem so nice to her and my two boys at first, but then they treat them like they're dogs and I kick the girl to the curb! I talk to my kids and I play with my kids. My daughter is almost twelve and we still do nails and she still pedicures for each other and we bake our asses off. She's my June Bug and no women will come between that! Even her Mom is jealous of our bond. I talk to my kids on the phone almost every day when they're not with me.
@Demon Dean, thanks! You are a long way from the resent updates. Are you taking care of businesses?
@PoliticsSniper, I've been through a lot of therapy lately and I'm learning that I was doing the same thing as you Dad.
@Your Grandmas Tits, never mind, I just realized that I wasn't part of that thread. Oops!
@Multiple personality, haha it's alright! It really awsome that you're there for her though because she gets that love from you and stuff. Growing up with a dad like mine definatly did some damage that I can never make up for on my own so really good job for you!! (⌒▽⌒)
@Your Grandmas Tits, I'm sorry. I've got tell you that my dad wasn't the greatest and he passed away last year on February 26th. I have more issues with thinking I could have done more to improve our relationship than what he did. My parents divorced before I was even a year old. I feel my point is, you can take baby steps to get back to what you feel your relationship should be(and he should do the same) before it's too late and there is even more for you to deal with. :)
@Multiple personality, Alright! Thank you for your advice! I'm going to try my best to have a relationship with my dad!
@Your Grandmas Tits, go slow and easy. I would try to hide it from your step mother at first. Even my daughters mom was jealous of our relationship. You two can have your secret lives together. And that's a start and that's better than nothing for now. Just don't go all in and have your heartbroken at first. I did that with my dad and I am a guy. LOL Baby steps at first. You are his little girl, so he'll come around. ;)
@Multiple personality, Okay, my older sister is starting to get to him I think, she's an adult now so she's been trying to get him to realize how sinister my stepmom is. It's working a little because he ACTUALLY wanted to hear me play piano once!! I'll try to do what my sister is doing even though I'm not quite an "adult" yet (I'll be 18 in a little bit over a year 😋)
@Your Grandmas Tits, you keep bringing up your step mom and I understand that's an issue for you, but I hope you can work on your relationship with your dad first. You are an adult, actually, A young adult, but you're old enough to understand how you want people to respect your wishes and your old enough to respect theirs. Remember to keep your wit and don't loose your sense of humor. I like your funny! :)
@Multiple personality, Well shucks (⌒▽⌒) haha yeah I understand! Thank You!
@Multiple personality, just haven't been on in a few days, needed to catch up is all
@Multiple personality, parenting ur on the right path to doing it right tooooo
I have two nieces and their dad is out of the picture (he's a scumbag anyway), so whenever I see them, I'm always braiding their hair or putting nail polish on their finger nails because I want to show them that a man can be more than rough and tough.
@Felix the Bear, You sir, are awesome.
@Felix the Bear, thank you for that.
@Felix the Bear, You need a hug. From Emma Watson.
@CG Vantas, I'll take you up on that offer
Plot twist; he learned it from his own father who wanted a daughter.
@Giant Cabbage, But dad I want to play football. No son now put on that dress.
It's weird to me that most of you people are full functioning adults ...not bad weird but ...awesome weird
I truly respect this man.
My dad did most of the raising of me, my little brother, and little sister because my mother is the one who works. I remember once he tried to paint my nails and not only did it turn out horrendous, but he also tried to dry my nails with a blow dryer.
His dad probably is some kind of service, but not a SEAL. If he can't even spell out the acronym and he (looks at least 15). Or he's a complete idiot who hasn't decided to look up what his dad does..
@Gamacios, SHE is not a complete idiot, but that's hardly even the point of the picture, Debbie downer.
@Muhsari , Because everything you hear on the internet is true. Yes, I know every little thing about this person. Of course I don't, relaxx people. Maybe her dad was a SEAL, maybe he wasn't! I don't know this person mai god people..
@Gamacios, it doesn't have to be true. The whole point of her post was to show that her dad was manly, but could still do such a 'feminine' thing as painting his daughter's nails. And sometimes fake stories can show us that. Do you read a book or go to the movies and refuse to like it's fake? Technical inaccuracies aside, it was a cute post.
One of my friend's dad is like that he's really nice and he is in the army
How was the other guy being insecure? Since when does pointing out something that looks odd make you insecure?
@CriTiKa1, a man is insecure when he feels he can't afford to "lower" himself to doing conventionally feminine things
@MayITakeYourHatSir, How does that make him insecure? What if he simply doesn't like conventionally feminine things?
@CriTiKa1, If he doesn't like them that's fine but if he goes around constantly belittling feminine things and criticizing the people who enjoy them then that's what makes him insecure. Basically if he acts like a middle school bully about it.
Pic looks like a dude
