@kstuff, O-SHAG-HENNESSY'S OFFICE. NOW!
@kstuff, Is no one asking how a 13 year old got a job?
That's great and all, but when I started doing this shjt my mom literally kicked me out of the house and called me a maricon and in 20 minutes of wandering the streets I came home crying and begging for her to let me in.
@The boondocks, that worked pretty well for me too
@The boondocks, that it? 3/10 not enough chancletas
@Sir Bionic, not chancletas pero la madera de la escoba

@The boondocks, Todays lesson in how not to fvck with Mom..
@Here Comes Treble, Woah there ✋
@The boondocks, ...why? I'm a mom and my kids know not to act like asses.
@Here Comes Treble, oh, well you didn't get the joke I was trying to make. I was saying Woah there as if you were actually saying how not to fvck your mom, also, good for you ma'am
@The boondocks, haha! No problem :-) I've had my 2 nieces (one is 2 yr old and the other is 11 yr old) for the past few days and I'm just beyond tired (and of course insomnia is just wonderful as well..). I will get jokes better next time 😊
@Here Comes Treble, Hope you, your children, and your nieces do well in life 😄
@The boondocks, aww! Thanks, Hon! I hope you do as well
That's kinda passive aggressive why not just spank the brat.
@The Collector, *claps passively".
@The Collector, because people are a bunch of pussies these days who think everything can be solved by being pussies.
@The Collector, my did would always pull either my sideburns or my ear. Oh boy did I listen after that. Lol
@The Collector, dad**
@The Collector, cause fvcking pansies these days call that child abuse, emotional scars are invisible 😈
@The Collector, hang the child!
@The Collector, 13 is a little old to spank imo... also this shows that the parent understands their feelings but also know that they are dumb.
@The Collector, pretty much every study ever conducted shows that corporal punishment has serious negative psychological effects on children. But, ya know, if you prefer archaic, bronze-age techniques that don't work, then whatever.
@That Bear over there, never too old for beats
@The Collector, pretty pathetic when you have to resort to hitting a child in order to gain their compliance. A good parent is able to gain their child's respect without violence.
@That Bear over there, in the immortal words of every black mom ever "Don't get cute, cause ya not too old for an ass-woopin!"
@MOOPLES , it really does depend on a ton of circumstances. My parents explained why they spanked me and told me that they hated to do it and I realized it was my fault because I was being a douche.
@Eddie Nugget, bet you weren't spanked as a child... most kids that I've known that were spanked "correctly", ie: not just beat into submission, told that they were still loved, within a certain age range, have said that it helped them learn not be an Ass.
@The Collector, Smacking hurts, this brings on a load of shame, hurt, and work.
@MOOPLES , when dad went for the hot wheels track you knew you screwed up. Never offended more than once. We were all happier for it because we had boundaries and learned respect. It was good, you know once the welts disappeared.
@The Collector, Please don't reproduce. We don't need another psycho to shoot up a school.
@Sir Bionic, I think the person who beats up on a kid when it's unnecessary should be the one that's considered a pussy.
@MOOPLES , Idk what studies you're looking at but that guy in the 90s (I think it was Dr. Spok or something like that) even apologized for incorrectly telling parents not to spank. The even more negative psychological impact is letting kids develop the idea that they can get away with anything with a "time out" or "slap on the wrist".
@X4N4T05, I took multple psych classes in college. We studied this shvt.
@MOOPLES , But you didn't take the time to tell me why any of my statements were incorrect. Maybe you were disciplined incorrectly but when done right you get a responsible self motivated adult with a healthy love for their parents.
@That Bear over there, it doesn't really matter. You're making it so that they associate doing something wrong with experiencing physical pain, which has been shown to be ineffective and have negative impacts both emotionally and psychologically. Negative punishment isn't as effective as negative reinforcement. They become afraid of doing something wrong because they're afraid of being punished instead of because it's the wrong thing to do. It's essentially control via fear.
@X4N4T05, Many studies have shown that physical punishment — including spanking, hitting and other means of causing pain — can lead to increased aggression, antisocial behavior, physical injury and mental health problems for children. Americans’ acceptance of physical punishment has declined since the 1960s, yet surveys show that two-thirds of Americans still approve of parents spanking their kids.
But spanking doesn’t work, says Alan Kazdin, PhD, a Yale University psychology professor and director of the Yale Parenting Center and Child Conduct Clinic. “You cannot punish out these behaviors that you do not want,” says Kazdin, who served as APA president in 2008. “There is no need for corporal punishment based on the research. We are not giving up an effective technique. We are saying this is a horrible thing that does not work.”

@Your Crazy Stalker, my friend it truly makes a difference when you have a screaming toddler who's going ballistic on the floor simply over not getting what they want and won't listen to reason whatsoever.
@Sir Bionic, A baby is obviously too young to be spanked. If a spanking is the only punishment that you can come up with, then please don't have any children. Our society doesn't need any more assholes due to bad parenting.
@Your Crazy Stalker, we aren't talking about babies. We're talking about a toddler who's screaming on the floor and knocking products off shelves in a grocery store. We aren't going to question any form this toddler was raised, the only thing that's important is this toddler. Tell me Stalker, how would you handle this situation, considering you seem to be the perfect parent all of the sudden. And let me remind you that because the kid is busy screaming he won't listen to logic or reason. So what to do now, take it upon yourself to properly and quickly discipline them or will you just stand there and panic like many parents today. Or hey you can just cave in and buy them that hundred dollar toy they're freaking out about
@Sir Bionic, You're making a lot of assumptions about me without even thinking about what you are saying. In this case I would spank the child, but that's only if the child is too young to explain what they are doing is bad. If you dont explain it, then the spanking is useless. Once a child is old enough to understand, then a more advanced punishment should be taken, such as grounding or taking away something they like. If the kid is 8 and you are still spanking him, then that is obviously not working. Instead of being lazy and just spanking him, come up with something that makes them understand what they did was wrong. Next time, please think before you post.
@Your Crazy Stalker, people that hurt children for no clear reason shouldn't be parents. But if you're in a situation where you need to make a call to action then it takes more than simply talking to the child. No kid is perfect, so you can't expect them to be a star individual in society, especially as their still developing as a person. Everyone looks at spankings as abuse or extreme violence but really those are all over reactions. You may see it as unnecessary but in tense situations like what I described that's when it's truly needed. And that's the only time it's done, when it's truly needed to be done. Most parents actually know the difference between teaching their kid right from wrong with discipline and being absolute brutes. Baby's on the other hand are a completely different from toddlers. Baby's still are developing and so shouldn't be expected to know right from wrong, and parents actually know this. This is a time when talking is necessary
@Your Crazy Stalker, ya know what? How about we let the parent decide how to raise their child. Leave it to the hands of the creator, right? I'm done with this argument, so you have a good day and take care.
@Sir Bionic, That's the main reason I commented, because you were questioning other people's parenting styles. If you want to give your opinion then run away from the discussion in the same post because youre afraid of my opinion, then be that way. Have a good one.
@Your Crazy Stalker, listen man you can't just make assumptions like that, you've been doing it throughout this whole conversation/argument, like that thing you said about not having any children earlier or with me coming up with one type of punishment. I'm not running away from anything my friend, I've got shjt to do and can't stay by my phone all day and argue with somebody who's giving off a "fvck you" type of attitude. So again, goodbye and have a good day.
@Sir Bionic, Yea you were giving a fvck you attitude toward a lot of people with your original comment by saying that any parent that's not lazy enough to just spank their kid when it's not necessary. I was just defending them. There are many parenting style out there, some of which involve actual abuse, not just spanking. What this parent did was pretty good, even though it might be fake.
$716 a month I'll move in tommorow
Why food 150? Is all the shjt organic or what?
@InsanityWolf404, 150 for a month is super cheap that's only $37.25 a week give or take
This was clearly written by an upper class white mother. What child has his own bathroom and would tell his mother he won't be controlled at 13. Also what kind of mother wouldn't have slapped the shjt out of that little boy for saying that. This is the type of parent that has never disciplined their child before and now it's blowing up in their face
@Assassinator2399, im not a parent but i have to deal with kids and parents. 13 year olds always talk back thats when they are getting some freedom so he thinks he cant be controlled. As for the mom slapping him, we live in a world where if a teacher saw any red mark on him or the kid himself wanted to be a prick could have his mom taken away for child abuse. That bein said i fully endors punishment and the mom should of spanked the kids ass.
If $116 is just a portion of the power bill, I'd hate to see the full amount
That's great and all but if you give the kid an option out of it he's not learning anything
@manbrodude, they did. They said or you can be "my child instead of my roommate".
@kharrison8166, I know that's my point
I beat my mom
Wait, that's far more reasonable than my apartment! Can I be your son?
*downloads for future use
My mom got raped, tortured and murdered by sand people.
Never having children
My mom gave me what we call an "ass whoopin'" before douchebags like these kids came to that age of trying to extort parents and gained this thing called respect, so I never went through this phase and guess what!? Neither will my child because guess what!? I'll be doing the same thing to my children. 😱
My mother was a bum, as soon as i got my first paycheck she started asking for money all the time. It should be noted that when i was in 7nth grade she quit her job and never worked again, letting my grandmother fend for her. She constantly feins illness like philbert from rocko. No doctor has diagnosed her with anything and she has visited immeasurable times
I didn't realize my mom had another son named Aaron
