Overall I think it's better to not designate yourself to one spectrum of views. Whether it's being liberal or conservative, democrat or republic, pro life/choice, it's totally fine to have your own opinions, but I just think people should try to be more open minded and try to understand the arguments of the other end.
Not saying you have to agree, but every argument always has two sides with valid points under different circumstances and I think society could make great headway if people just learned to be more open minded, possibly leading to more compromises.
But don't mind me, I'm just a guy on the internet
@Abusive Breasts, I agree with Abusive Breasts
@Abusive Breasts, liberalism is treason.
@Abusive Breasts, that's why in switzerland we have 7 leaders instead of one and whatever they agree on by majority all of them have to stand behind. Can be slow sometimes but this helps to create ideas where the majority of people can live with.
@Abusive Breasts, That's actually the problem. I'm conservative - but it doesn't mean I look up and agree to all that encompasses being conservative. I'm a conservative because the values that I hold as a person are defined as being conservative. I don't choose to be conservative, I choose morals and "conservative" is just a classification of the over-arching moral values I hold.
