@ThePandaPool , honestly what scares me are the number of kids/young adults that believe some of the crap. They will be voting in 2-6 years and there are a lot of them. I don’t claim to be democrat or republican any more. They both have some serious hang ups. All of that being said educate some youngsters on how the world really works if you have the opportunity

@Medic135, Alex Jones is a free agent who’s exploiting the stupidity of the far right (I in no way mean this to apply to ALL conservatives) for his own personal gain. It’s hard to tell exactly where he lands on the political spectrum, but he’s not 100% acting. He is very likely still conservative, but not as far right as he’d have his viewers believe, considering he’ll flee from his fans when they approach him in public and start spouting off the same shît he talks about on his show.

@ThePandaPool , never thought of that before. But I wouldn’t be suprised. I see a lot of stupid stuff all the time, but it’s at least realistically stupid. I highly doubt stuff like the articles in this pic are genuine. It’s gotta be a.) satire, b.) an attempt to get a rise out of people or c.) like you said. There are some really dumb things that I disagree with, but I can see how someone could come to that point, but stuff like this is unfathomable

@ThePandaPool , It actually is. A lot of the articles that seem too stupid to be real are made by the far right to discredit liberals (not saying normal Republicans but the crazy far right) it sounds unreal but it’s been exposed many times, unfortunately once it’s out there people just believe it’s crazy liberals... that’s just how it works, even if a story is discredited only like 10% of people see that it’s fake, where as 90% only see the original story.

@Blasphemy is Fun, I started to see this over the last few years too. I see a lot of people making claims that liberals said this or some asinine SJW thing was supposedly said. And if you look, significantly more people believe it and start bitching about the supposed comment they claim “crazy liberals” made. Than people who actually support the comment. I see far more anti/liberal rhetoric then I do actual comments by liberals. It seems like a 20 to 1 ratio at times.

If you are wondering what the article says here is the tldr: First article: writer admits its a photo of coal miners but since it looks like black face to him, they shouldn't have it up. Second article: The argument used in the article is that people who were annoyed at Mary and gang dancing during the song "step in time" called them "hottentots" which is a word used in a slanderous way for people of the khoikhoi in South Africa.
Sometimes I wonder if these people are being paid off to say this stupid shjt to make liberals look bad. This isn't a political statement by me here. Maybe I just dont want to believe people are this stupid.
