The Battle of Karánsebes during the Astro-Ottoman war. Basically the Austrians came to the town of Karánsebes and sent out hussars to scout for the Ottomans. The hussars did not find any Ottomans, but instead found booze. They drank the booze. Then some infantry showed up and wanted some booze. The hussars did not share and a fight broke out and they began attacking each other. The confusion this caused was expounded by the fact that large portions of the Austrian army were not Austrian and did not speak German. Officers cries of halt ended up sounding like Allah to them. The cavalry charged. The aetillery corps started firing because the cavalry charged. People woke up from sleeping and just started firing. Eventually the army retreated. The Ottomans showed up two days later and took the town. The end.
