OH VEY, SHUD IT DOWN!
Sarah’s Scribbles is such an innocent little comic, can you please not tarnish it by editing it into some weird antisemite conspiracy thing
@YUNoJump, But they do control the banks and the media. What's wrong with mentioning it?
@YUNoJump, whilst I agree that using someone else’s comic to make a controversy point has risk, I don’t see how this is anti-Semitic.
It’s a generalised statistic, it’s not a call to arms for another holocaust.
@Sambob @TheCrust, true but the phrasing of this really makes it seem like “the Jews” are an organised group that have some secret agenda, as opposed to just independent people achieving success due to an instilled expectation to achieve highly. It’s not really fully anti Semitic on its own here, but this is the sort of dialogue that shows up before every single “and that’s why we shouldn’t let Jews do things” speech.
I see anti-semitism is back to polling strong in America. GG GOP. Making Anti-Semitism Great Again.
@mas2de, when was the staunchly pro-Israel party ever anti-Semitic? Historically it was the Democrats that were host to anti-Semitic movements.
Also, it isn't anti-Semitic to notice how concentrated Jews are in positions of power. They do, after all, have the highest average IQ of any ethnic group. This is just the acknowledgment of reality.
@Doctor Krieger, or is that down to insular, borderline xenophobic practices that would have other groups labelled as racist.
Im just saying, these bankers and groups don’t tend invite none-Jews into the higher ranks. You can call it nepotism/ cronyism and what have you, but only because they don’t want outsiders getting their money.
Just seems to be a bit of double standards that they get to be insular but other have to diversified.
@Sambob, or is that successful application of in-group preference due to their higher average IQ?
Also, by "other groups", let's be honest here. It's whites, and only whites, that would be called racist for it. Other groups engage in in-group preference all the time without people decrying it as racism, even when it is racism like the genocidal political movement prevalent in South Africa. The South African president sang "Kill the Boer" on camera, for Christ's sake! Nobody in the public eye is decrying racism over that! For those who don't know, "Boer" is a slur for whites (originally just Dutch whites), and especially white farmers, in Africa.
@Doctor Krieger, it sounds like the beginning of the arguments that started a lot of that shjt in the first place and it's stupid and useless to point out their race at all. Why does it matter, their ethnicity or religion?
Yes back in the 30s America was mostly about Hitler as he was charismatic and nationalistic. Once the camps and killing started is when people finally started thinking that maybe singling a group of people out as the scapegoat for all their problems wasn't such a great idea. It sounds nice to find some commonality among a group of people that have power and blame them for your problems, but if you don't like others being bankers and such, go be one yourself. Sorry, back to the Democratic party and the Republican party; "historically" before the 1960s the Democratic party was the conservatives and the Republican party was the liberal, people's rights group. Then the Democratic party supported the Civil Rights Act of 1965 and the majority of the people were miffed and
@mas2de, ... Fled to the Republican party as a safe haven for their racism.
@mas2de, someone is clueless about the history of the anti-semitic Democratic Party
Why those long-nose, money-grabbing dirtbags...
Okay but here's a challenge for you all: prove that anti-Semitism is actually a bad thing.
ProTip: You can't.
Behold a pale horse and chronicles of zion will tell you all you need to know about this!
