Obviously the car didn't hit her hard enough
@obijuankenobi, Car used tackle. It's super effective!
@obijuankenobi, What a shame...
@A Math Dealer, a normal type move cant be super effective against anything unless the car was a fairy type and had pixilate or any other move that changes normal type moves to some other type sorry for the rant im a nerd bye
@obijuankenobi, Maybe the driver was the one playing?
That must have been onyx-pected.
@Kolarbear, you clever bastard.....
@Detective Burkhart, I thought you came up with that and was actually impressed but you're just a phony. Here's and upvote
@Kolarbear, you beat me to it... fine! Take my upvote
@Kolarbear, I hate you for that lol made me chuckle though once I swiped over lol
@Kolarbear, I heard the driver might get exeggcute-ed
@Kolarbear, honestly I do not comment on here very often, but your pun was so impressive I could not resist applauding you for it!
@Kolarbear, *reads your comment*
*swipes to next pic*
Or just take responsibility for the fact you weren't paying attention to the road like a logical person would. The game didn't force you to look at it. You should know to pay attention to your surroundings.
If you're too fücking stupid to know better than to put yourself in danger for digital monster catching, or too oblivious to prevent yourself from walking into traffic because you're playing a game, you deserve exactly what you get.
Also, the game tells you to pay attention to your surroundings every time the game is opened up, so legally, they're covered.
@I Are Lebo, It wasn't just regular traffic either. This idiot tried to cross a highway.
Good thing they highlighted those words so I know which six out of the ten words are the most important
This is why we should take warning labels off some things. These people are breeding too much
@Leprechaun Giant, I like where your head is at but unless it's a sure death, those people tend to start lawsuits. Also, there's the whole next of kin thing too
She didn't blame it on the game. She said she crossed the street to get a Pokemon, she never outright said it was the games fault. She also warned people to be careful.
@Mr Tall sir, she did, and I quote." I do blame the game"
I would blame Darwin
This is a local story. She wasn't playing when she was hit. She crossed to road to get a Pokemon. When she went to go back across high traffic road she never looked both ways and just run into traffic.
She actually wasn't even playing when it hit her
@Magical Miser, what, was Pokemon Go driving the car?
@I Are Lebo, she and her mother said that it "dragged" her into the street. They were saying that the game was demonic and that it basically possessed her.
@Magical Miser, got to love dumbasses
@Magical Miser, Thing is, even if she was playing it at the time, she doesn't have any legal legs to stand on. Someone getting hurt while being distressed by GO has the same legal support as someone crashing their car. The makers have nothing to do with the misuse of their product and as such can't he sued.
@Magical Miser, 🙄
@TheRatMan, not only that, but there's that warning that plays every time the game is started that warns you to pay attention to your surroundings.
I mean was she or the driver playing it?
@SuperHitler, she was
Car should have killed her. Place her in the Darwin awards
Gyrados warned her!
