Things you didn't want to know
Who here like me knew this?
@Implicit88, me, myself and I
@Implicit88, Also, every single Ditto is a failed clone of Mew D:
@MisterSir, Also Kadabra is a child who mysteriously woke up one day as Kadabra
@MisterSir, Ooh, what about cloysters are just ghastlies who possessed a sea shell?
@Implicit88, Or how gengar is clefairy's shadow
@Implicit88, Did you know that the fungus that Parasect has on its back is the same fungus from The Last of Us?
@The Demoman, or that Hypno could be a pedophile/babyeater that steals children.
@MisterSir, that probably isn't true though
@MisterSir, False. That is a popular theory on the Internet, but due to the prescience of ditto in places other than Cinnabar island, it is assumed to be false.
@Implicit88, i did.. they got this idea from the zombie ants in brazil..
@MisterSir, Actually, when one of the developers was asked that, he said he never even heard that theory.
@MisterSir, those scientists must have had an extremely unhealthy obsession with Mew considering ditto spawns infinitely regardless of what game I am playing as long as I'm on the right route.
@Implicit88, theres actually a fungi that does this in real life too.
@MisterSir, omg! I can't believe I forgot that!!!
@MisterSir, believed to be... That's fanmade but I do too believe that
@Implicit88, I dont know much about pokemon so i dont know if this is actually true. Anyways i looked at the uploaders name and i wasnt sure. Is it just a coincident? Btw dont get me wrong i love pokemoni just dont know that much boit it. My favorite pokemon anyways is groudon
@BON JOVI, its true. On the pokedex (basically pokemom encyclopedia) it says this, but that was in the first games and I dont know if its changed since then.
@UltraTaco, yeah I know that. Pretty crazy cause if we were to learn hl2w fhe fungi (presumably with no brain) can learn to control a living thing we couls learn a lot about ourselves.
@Mysterious Stranger, ive never seen that. But I wouldnt doubt it.
@MisterSir, now I picture Ditto saying "kill me now"
@MisterSir, Thats actually a myth.
@thatescalatedquicly, what's a better theory then that.
Mews run over by a steamroller? I don't think so.
@Implicit88, ITS "THE LAST OF US" ALL OVER AGAIN!
See the problem here is that I've seen this in plenty of places but now Fake Statistic uploaded it. Now I'm not so sure...
@TheCruzanator, well it's not exactly real so it could be wrong or right
@TheCruzanator, it's not a statistic
@Fudge Face, define real in this sentence if you mean real as in real life then yes you're right the Pokemon is not real, but if you mean it's not real in the pokemon world you are wrong. The poke dex entrie in Pear "It is controlled by a mushroom grown larger than the bug body. It is said to prefer damp places." It is basically the flood of the Pokemon world or to be more precise the last of us zombies.
Another fun fact is the fungus on its back is the cordecyps fungus, the same one in the last of us
I feel like this is my time to shine but i may be too late
@The Last Of Us, its never too late if you believe
I am Paras. Funny pics is my parasite.
It's called cordyceps in real life. One of the more terrifying things. Also featured in the Last of Us. THE MORE YOU KNOW!
@Butter Norton, Let's hope humans don't get it.
@Stryker Eureka, Id invest in a crop duster and many a buckets of weed killer
@Stryker Eureka, ants are already getting it which is terrifying
@Zracer4life, Ants and other insects have been getting it for a very very long time. However, each species of cordyceps has evolved to take over a specific insect. It IS possible that it could evolve one day to take over humans. But taking over an insect vs. taking over ANY creature with an actual brain is likely a COMPLETELY different story. But it's still a pretty damn creepy thought.
@Zracer4life, actually, ants DO have brains. So my previous argument may not be so valid and we COULD be in some serious danger - all it takes is one mutated spore, randomly capable of infecting humans. As a completely new threat we would have no idea what was wrong with that human until a mushroom erupts from their skull, releasing millions of new human-infecting spores into the air. And then we have a serious problem.
@Katpee, this may need to be taken to some scientists so they can start think of ways to save us
6 March 2014
The missing link between head crabs and facehuggers?
Did you also know there is a real parasite that does a similar thing as this to ants in real life
Me thinks of last of us...
So they have 52 episodes on Netflix.. I may be late to this information but I started watching it two days ago with my roommate after work.. Nothing wrong with two 24 year old men watching pokemon is there?
Kinda looks like a penis
Too bad he still sucks...
Just like the infected from The Last of Us!
So basically Cordiceps?
Dad fvcked up...
Sooo Its The Last of Us?
I never realized how creepy parasect was until I saw it in this picture
So the fungi growing on the back of this Pokemon is a good analogy of how I feel in college
This still creeps me out even though I've known for a while. I refuse to catch Paras now.
