@Invisiturtle, i mean i guess it's just ok to casually call black people that. A frat at my school just got completely disbanded because of a video of them chanting that. But I guess it's cool
@Invisiturtle, in Europe and other parts of the world it's not considered a dark word. In Hungary that word is acceptable for describing a black person, as in Austria and most of Germany.
@IAmIcarus, ah ok. Seemed awful to me, thanks for the info
@Invisiturtle, well if the creator of the comic was from somewhere where the word is considered bad then it is awful, but my girlfriend is from Austria and I'm from Texas. She heard the word one time and asked about it and found it odd that it has such a negative connotation. She didn't even know.
@Invisiturtle, I just heard about that frat in the news. I mean, with the strongly negative connotation that word has in the US how were they so stupid to chant that AND have someone video taping them?
@Invisiturtle, you go to the university of Oklahoma? I heard about the video on the news.
@Oh No Its Dan, I know right, they can't even catch a break in an alternate dimension!
WOAH DID THEY JUST DROP THE N-WORD
@Spikeup12, I saw that.
I'm half Dutch, and was under the impression that Holland DOES sell weed and hookers to tourists?
@Pokkii, Yeah, they do. A friend of mine went there over spring break.
Latvia: still no potato.
The US has great education, some idiots just choose not to go to school
@I SNEEZ WOMBATS, exactly, we have a great college system
@I SNEEZ WOMBATS, yeah it's not all accurate, for example Argentina is significantly more European than anywhere else in South America, and by many standards Russia is terribly poor.
@I SNEEZ WOMBATS, hahahahahaha thats why the rest of the world kills you on all standardized tests...
@Converthis, Russia isnt* terribly poor. As for the standardized test comment, the U.S. Is in the top 25 in every K-12 international testing category, many times scoring in the top 10, and the U.S. university system is frequently seen as the best in the world.
@I SNEEZ WOMBATS, It really doesn't. Sorry
@Click to toggle, it's better than most places in the world, sorry bub
@Spetsnaz , yeah, that pretty much sums it up.
@I SNEEZ WOMBATS, It's not that people are idiots it's because our education policy as a system sucks. The US was ranked the sixth wealthiest nation and spends the most per student for a college level education. Unfortunately, only 70% of that is government funded money, leaving the student an annual cost of approximately $10,000. Since the median wage for an American in 2014 was $26,695, many people can't afford to educate themselves let alone put their own children through the higher education system.
@Banana Waffle, they don't have to put there child through a higher education system, there are still some people who neglect to learn
@I SNEEZ WOMBATS, I don't think I understand what you mean when you say "neglect to learn."
@Banana Waffle, or like don't care for it
@shakeweight, I'm talking about people over that age who can make their own decisions and choose not to go to college and/or not finish high school
@I SNEEZ WOMBATS, But it's against the law for a minor 16 and under to not attend school (or not be homeschooled) if they are an American citizen. Also, if you miss too may days, you and your guardians have to go before a truancy court. How do you mean they choose not to go to school?
@I SNEEZ WOMBATS, To clarify: higher education = university level learning. Focusing on secondary education and lower (grades K-12), consider: At least half of all public school students are on some type of government assistance, indicating that they live at or below the poverty line. Less than a third of these impoverished students will graduate HS; most are forced to leave earlier to care for or work to support their families. The way our system is set up is at fault not the select few who are old enough to "choose not to go to school." This is especially apparent when American 15 year olds have consistently (since 2000) scored at or below the international average for maths, science, and reading levels of same age students world wide. Considering the US' wealth and resources, all of these numbers should be much higher.
@Spetsnaz , top 25 is pretty bad for the richest country on the planet... should be top 5 for how smart they think they are...and I dont know who you think thinks us universities are so good... in england we laugh at them... ever heard of oxford? Cambridge? Maybe you havnt... but thats ok... its a pretty common thing to laugh at american university courses.
@I SNEEZ WOMBATS, Tl;Dr: I really love my country but, dude, numbers don't lie. Our education system really does kinda suck.
@Banana Waffle, Ya, I guess I was just trying to defend our country
@Converthis, im assuming your English, first of all UK universities are on average worse than American universities, not considering the price of higher level education, with that considered the Americans beat the pants off you guys, seriously I did a research paper on international educational systems and basically the reason the U.S. isn't at the top is that (for some reason) each state has its own educational plan, and while many progressive states score in the top percentile in international testing, other states weigh them down, however trends suggest that American k-12 education is improving drastically where teachers pay and education reform is taking place. While the U.S. K-12 isn't the best it's pretty good for being free. the American university system is by nearly every measure the best education for the price in the Western Hemisphere, whereas you have Oxford and Cambridge, they have 20-30 schools capable of providing equal or better education at a fraction of the price.
@Spetsnaz , and when I say UK universities are worse, what I mean is they tend to have educational quality of that of an American school that is significantly less expensive, and often is less selective in its admissions. I had to write 25 pages on international educational systems and basically I learned that the U.S. K-12 is pretty stupid, but could be improved to be a top competitor, whereas American universities are spectacular, and most developing countries are taking the American system as a model for advanced education.
@I SNEEZ WOMBATS, I think that's really cool of you! I guess I choose to defend it by looking for ways to improve it .. Which isn't always as popular as one might think.
@Banana Waffle, thanks, and that's a really cool way of looking at it
@Converthis, Ever heard of Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Princeton, or
@Converthis, you realize that standardized test mean nothing other than you being able to memorize information as its beat into your head and the give back that information in the form of tiny little bubbles, you can have a good memory but if you dont know how to apply it you arent that smart
Is that the twin-headed eagle of the Imperium of Man on France's hat? Emperor be praised.
@Odd Man Out, The twin-headed eagle is actually a masonic icon, along with the square compass it is one of the most recognizable symbol of the masonic brotherhood. Also, it is often seen on old banks as the knights templar, a branch of the masons, arguably created banking.
@PB4UGAMER, Interesting. I knew it wasn't exclusive to 40k, but I wasn't sure exactly where it was from.
@Odd Man Out, It very nearly made it on to the official seal of the United States as well. Instead, we opted for a regular eagle instead after some debate. Of course, the eagle has since become almost synonymous with America itself (and "freedom") in the years since.
@Odd Man Out, FOR RUSS AND THE ALL FATHER!
@fetus meatus, I will return at the end. The final battle. At the wolftime.
@Odd Man Out, we are the emporers angels of death, not mercy
@RebelWithoutaCause, and Scotland
I'm moving to Sweden!
I like how they changed Australia and New Zealand to reflect the United Kingdom of Ireland and Scotland
Denmark: even in a (very) alternate version of reality, we're still ignored on the international stage!
As a person of Nicaraguan nationality, I can say that this is sadly accurate.
Are we just glossing over how brutal that was on Japan? I get that we're throwing crap at everyone, but that's brutal.
@Massive Liar, Are we just glossing over how brutal Japan was in WW2, and how their government still shuns the idea of taking some accountability?
@YellowBat, No, but war guilt is one thing, and racism is quite another.
@Massive Liar, two notches below nuclear, just below tsunami.
idk the Roman Empire outlawed Christianity for a pretttyyyy long time. not to mention killed thousands of Christians in the colosseum
@Ich bin deprimiert , that's the Holy Roman Empire not the Roman Empire. The HRE was basically a bunch territories in Europe that banded together. They dissolved and much later became countries like Germany and Austria. It's a common misconception that many make,including myself who the same thing before world history
@Chrono Trigonometry , thought*
@Ich bin deprimiert , Also, the Roman Empire is the reason Christianity spread throughout Europe.
@CriTiKa1, that was only after it converted. Before that thousands of Christians were slaughtered and wrongfully persecuted by emperor Nero and others.
@Sebastian Pumpernickle, Yes, but you can't deny the fact that Rome is the reason Christianity spread so quickly. After Constantine, Rome's population was converted rather aggressively.
@CriTiKa1, I never denied that. In fact, I agree 100% with your summary of the conversion and influence of Rome towards Christianity. After Constantine the Roman Empire became possibly the largest single force behind the spread of Christianity, and was both aggressively popularized and promulgated throughout the non-latin world.
@Chrono Trigonometry , as a student currently in ap world history I have to give you an extra thumb for that description 👍
@Tom Bottom, Kind of off topic but were you issued an actual text book for AP History?
@Chrono Trigonometry , which explains why Germany and Austria were allies (with each other) in WWI and WWII
@Banana Waffle, you could get one from the school but they were pretty beaten up so I just bought one online
@Tom Bottom, Thanks for the info! 👍👍
Canada is the best country in the world for ice hockey and whoever made this must've forgotten how many hockey legends come from Canada oh and how about world juniors... Sorry
@Justice juice, Read "parallel"
@CriTiKa1, I realized after and just decided to let it be
Mexico - south American? Wth?
"Funny" pics has brought another unfunny pic
Don't crack on Argentina like that
Actually Iceland is not covered in ice Greenland is. Iceland is very green. The Vikings switched those names to confuse invaders and other people, in turn defending their home (Iceland) HISTORY!!!'
America sounds pretty great! Except for... You know, education
I'll still live in USA. I'll visit Sweden on vacation.
Oh shjt I saw the n word
Wow this is really racist! 😡 Why do people need to use stereotypes against countries?!
I'm glad we all had the same reaction to Sweden.
IRELAND ISN'T PART OF THE UK! goddamn. Only Northern Ireland technically is. THIS REALLY IRRITATES ME
@sticky moustache , Ireland use to be, before it became independant. In our universe, the head of state for the UK is a based it the England. In this alternate version, the head of state is based in Ireland. Which either never split from the UK, or conquered it.
You can't criticise facts on a hypothetical piece of fiction.
I think Yugoslavia would actually still exist as a smiling, happy place where everyone agrees on everything and no war crimes are committed
Are we saying the Netherlands aren't selling weed and hookers.
Cuz we do that.

@undeadpuns, it's alternate...
Argentina hasn't changed...
@Leighton Baines, yeah it is all European descendants in Argentina. Some 70% are of Italian origins
I know what this is trying to do, but I don't think it's working and isn't correct often
What I'm wondering is why is Palestine blank?
@Gaben, Meaning it doesn't exist in parallel dimension.
@No Off Switch, or is the same...
@No Off Switch, Meaning it does exist and is oppressing Israel.
@CriTiKa1, However you wanna look at it man.
