*gets in cell*
What a power house
@Weeee, they were right. Biology is important
@Cirno, but how do I itemize my taxes so I get the largest possible refund?
@Weeee, what a repost
I'm pretty sure that's the Golgi's job. Really, the mitochondria is more like the funding. He has the power to do anything, he just doesn't *technically* run it.
@Simetricwl , if we're getting technical, the Golgi is more like the mail services of the cell and the nucleus runs it
@Page 394, the nucleus doesn't do much of anything. They call it the control center, but it doesn't do anything but hold DNA and the nucleolus. The Golgi body transports materials out of the cell by ripping pieces off of itself called secretive vesicles.
@Simetricwl, exactly, the Golgi center would be the packaging system then, but it still doesn't run the cell. But without the nucleus, the cell cannot be a proper eukaryotic cell, as the DNA is held there and it aids in DNA/protein synthesis. Granted, a cell needs all of the organelles equally in order to properly function, so no one is more important
@Page 394, I... never said that it runs the cell.
@Simetricwl , oh, I might've just interpreted your original comment wrong. In that case, I'm a fool, and I apologize
@Page 394, we are both fools.
Mitochondria is the power house of a cell
