But does internet explorer know it's dead yet?
@Forte ZX, nah, it's always late
@Forte ZX, ...is this a Jojo reference?
@SimonPetrikov, that would be Fist of the North Star
@Forte ZX, Might have to pull up Task Manager and force kill it.
I never really understood the hate of Internet Explorer it always worked fine for me
@TriangleTesticles, it did not for me that's for sure. Super slow, wouldn't load pages properly. I changed to Firefox and it made a dramatic difference.
@TriangleTesticles, It reminds me too much of work where we have to use IE and our VPN is super slow that even Google.com takes 3 minutes to load.
@TriangleTesticles, all I remember is trying to see anime pictures and the pictures never loading, and trying to watch anime and being super slow to do anything. So I changed to Firefox, then chrome. I was not computer literate at all, and I know it suck.
Occasionally I come across some old website that only works right with IE
@HSA, although i have no problem with IE, it isn’t my usual but there is one website i need for work that doesn’t work on any other browser
@Gallchobhair, About 75% of my websites don't work on anything but IE. Doesn't matter since neither has ad block, even though we are blocked when we accidentally click on an ad, soooo....
Does anyone *actually* use Opera?
I used to edit and contribute to Google Maps. Said part was there were certain tools that didn't work on Chrome - you had to use IE.
I used to use Internet Explorer probably well up until 2012 and I would be typing and it would only be capturing every couple of letters or so. I would have typed out something long and would have barely gotten half of it actually registered on screen but I could click over to anything else like notepad, open another browser, or something literally anything else and it would type out just fine. I'd go back to Internet Explorer and just spam the crap out of the keyboard and only a few letters would come through. That's when I switched to Chrome.
Bing is way worse
@TomPholio, But at least Bing Maps is reliable on Chrome for long-duration use, unlike Google Maps.
I still use internet explorer every now and then chrome should be the bad one he takes touch ram.
Great. One dies and another takes its place. Can't even uninstall Edge. Not that it's a big deal, but I find it annoying.
@Funny Pics Janitor, But at least the new-new Edge is Chromium, so it is essentially a reskinned Chrome.
But he was a necessary evil to something greater then he.
Internet explorer chan is hot, so is fire fox chan.
