JUST GOT TAZED!⚡️
@Bow To Your Senpai, blazed*
I'm sure air b&bs get robbed all the time. I can't be the only one bothered by things like uber and these things, right?
@Albmag, you’re not alone, I don’t trust random people very well. I’m sure the service providers didn’t intend for anything like that to happen but I’d be extremely cautious all the same.
@Albmag, well air b@b has so many serious legal issues I'm amazed it hasn't been shut down yet. "Landlords" don't have insurance, they can refuse your reservation at any time, and many people use it illegally like in certain apartments and what not. Essentially it doesn't follow all local laws for hospitality in most places, customers and hosts get fvcked over constantly, and I just don't see the appeal in living in someones house while on vacation. Uber on the other hand I find pretty reputable and have had much better experiences using it over a taxi service. I can pay and tip on my phone, I know exactly who is picking me up and if i don't like their reviews i can cancel the driver.
@Albmag, air b&b boggles my mind a bit, Uber however I do use. I can’t afford a second car and my wife has to have one. I mostly get by on the bus but sometimes I need to be somewhere sooner and don’t wanna blow $40 for a taxi when I can get an uber for $10.
@RevenantofAshes , that's understandable. I also think it's annoying when people use it (even though they have TWO CARS) because it's trendy. But what can ya do?
My uncle had the same problem when he hired some Somali immigrants for his house cleaning service. They got the cops called on them so many times that he had to fire them.
@Donald Drumpf, For real? That seems kinda messed up. At that point it seems like it's your neighbors who need to be dealt with. But what do I know?
