Children protesting for civil rights.
I don’t like people using their kids like this. It’s pretty tasteless
@Natural Sarcasm , One time there was a group of people hanging out in front of a Planned Parenthood building holding signs relating to anti-abortion. One parent had her child (seemed about 4-5 years old) hold a sign saying, "I could've been dead, but my mom chose not to kill me."
@DiSoNeGuY, teaching good morals right therrrrrr
@Natural Sarcasm , teaching children to NOT be racist is tasteless? Let me guess, using children to push an agenda is tasteless...even though that agenda is anti-racism?
@DiSoNeGuY, both of the people's heart's in the right place. I'd say the shock an awe of it forces the Planned Parenthood one to be in an of itself a political message. The others shock is naughty word on sign. I can't agree that it's tasteless when it's so spicy.
@DogStew, a four-five year old doesn't understand what's going on. They have no opinions, only preferences. They have no greater concept of race, so they have no greater concept of racism. What he's calling tasteless is using the child as a vehicle for your message. It's a cheap tactic on social media to garner likes and shares. Also, depending on the protest, I'm not sure where they're from, the protests have turned into rioting. So taking a child to a possible conflict zone may be dangerous. That's what is tasteless, them using her as a political prop.
@DogStew, children that age don’t even know what racism is and the tasteless part was because the parents obviously made the signs for these little kids and it has fowl language on it. It’d be different if it had something children would actually say like “we all need to love each other” or something along those lines
@That one lurker, enough with rioting. You don’t even know why people riot. The reason people riot is because they are poor. If there was hyperinflation then you’d be rioting too. And there is nothing wrong with teaching a small child that racism is wrong. There is nothing wrong with this image. You see something anti-racist, and you automatically want to nit pick it.
@DogStew, I dont think you understand the left, or the rioters.
@CocoasBro, explain it to me.
@DogStew, most of those rioters are cultural marxists. (A portion are just opportunistic criminals taking advantage of the confusion the average gang member etc) but the ones in the black block wearing masks theyre communists. While they claim to be anti racist theyre definition of racism might differ from yours, and certainly from the actual definition of racism.
@DogStew, the point being theyre not just random poor people sick of poverty and starting a riot. Theyre actrually majority rich white leftist university students. Atleast in the black block.
@CocoasBro, Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. I would love to see your source.
@Natural Sarcasm , you sound like a K K Karen.
@DogStew, well i cant proove the exact make up of the black block. Which is kind of the point of the black block. You cant diffentiate between people. Would you accept videos of these people spouting their beliefes?
@CocoasBro, so you are just spewing propaganda. I’m not saying the black bloc doesn’t exist. You make it sound like all protesters are rioters. That is far from the truth. Also, I don’t think you realize just how poor people are today. Unemployment is extremely high.
@DogStew, not really, I’m not showing entitlement by saying signs made for children shouldn’t have obscenities
@Natural Sarcasm , telling other people how to treat their children is an ultimate Karen move. And you are showing entitlement by speaking again a sign that says, “Racism is bad”.
@DogStew, I never told anyone how to treat their kids, I just said this was tasteless. It’s ironic that you call me a Karen as name calling, saying other opinions don’t matter, and you’re racist if you don’t agree with me is an extremely entitled outlook
@DogStew, i litterally distinguished between the two.
@Natural Sarcasm , what is tasteless is commenting on other people’s parenting. And what’s racist is speaking out against racism.
@CocoasBro, I’m quoting you here..., “You can’t diffentiate between people[protestors & black bloc].”
@DogStew, "that is the point of the black block you cant diffentiate between people" as in you cant differentiate between the people in the black block because theyre all wearing black and wearing masks.
@DogStew, and you’re allowed to think that. However I never spoke out against the message. I just didn’t like the cursing with small children
@DogStew, the point of a black bloc protest is that the police cannot arrest all protesters, and if the protesters look like the agitators, they cannot arrest all the agitators. Its literally the reason the tactic works, every agitator could just be a protester and you can't tell which is which unless you grab them in the act. Every single member of a black bloc is a rioter, if they are peaceful or not, just as you wouldn't call someone in a klan robe a "peaceful protester" because they fulfill the exact same purpose, obfuscation of identity to allow the true agitators to blend in and slip out. Thanks to anti-klan anti-mask laws, the police would actually legally be able to arrest every visible black bloc protestor immediately after the first one goes violent. They don't because mass arrests are hard and likely to turn violent if the agitators feel cornered, and if you are arresting someone peaceful they can freak out too if they see an agitator kick it off.
@DogStew, for example of what everyone was talking about with the black bloc. A man at Berkeley was assaulted by a man on video. He had a bike lock in a sock, jumped in, hit the dude, and ran back into the safety of anonymity. Because every one of the black Bloc wears black, covers their face, and is made up of normal college students that doesn't understand what's going on. So, when they're shouting someone down, then an attack occurs, even the black Bloc is shocked allowing the perpetrator to blend back in. In that case specifically he was caught, he was a professor of philosophy. The man he assaulted almost died of the massive gash in his head.
Wow it's crazy that the kids were able to have that kind of opinion and make those signs.
@ORGANIC, I believe it, my dog did the same thing on its own. And my cat chose to be vegan.
“I swear my kids made the signs themselves”
Great parenting exposing your children to foul language and ideologies/riots that they cannot understand. Stupid people.
