No the phones were down
@TomPholio, yup. They go out of their way to drive that home while the family is leaving the house
@TomPholio, yeah and when the police show up to check on the house he is afraid because one of the robbers scooped the house out dressed as a cop.
@TomPholio, Then how do you explain how you ordered the pizza
@TomPholio, No, if the phones were down he wouldn’t have been able to order a pizza.
@windows michaelsoft, that’s a good point, but the guy from the telephone company said the phones were down. I’ll have to go back and watch that part. He also calls police from “Murphy’s” house so maybe they were back up then too.
@Bionicbonk, possibly. I wonder if we just stumbled upon a vastly ignored plot hole in home alone..
@windows michaelsoft, the world must never know. *slips out polymer handgun*
@windows michaelsoft, When the phones were back up he was afraid to go to the police after accidentally stealing the toothbrush. In his head he probably thought they would take him to jail. Also Marv dressed as a police officer earlier in the film so that may have had something to do with it as @RiffRaff pointed out
@Hellequin, it's the main plot point of the film, that they can't get a hold of Kevin. But no one knows how Kevin was able to order pizza
@Zergmare , yes and how he called the cops from the neighbours house near the end
Just like real quick have you guys seen Macaulay in those new commercials? I’m really proud of him it looks like he cleaned himself up really well from whatever drugs he was on. Keep it up man!
@TubasDad, Macaulay Culkin and Brendan Fraser are two actors I'm always hoping the best for.
I don't think he was on drugs. I think he was fighting a diseas3
@TubasDad, Recently saw him on an AVGN episode where he played the Home Alone games, he looks great!
I believe in the second movie, lost in new york, he did in fact call the police, after ziplining from the second story of the house into a nearby treehouse. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
@bdoubleDD007, nah the zipline to the tree was in the first movie but in the second movie he does call the police. My memory’s telling me it’s when he got to the park(?)
@WickedStyx, yes but he never had to lay the deathtrap that was the house. He could have tipped the police off that they were planning on robbing the store and boom done
@18bluecat, I’m not going to question what he does. He is far too powerful for me
Realistically, those two died several times. The paint cans alone would have been lethal.
The Good Son...
I enjoyed it too, so... oops.
