The distinctive lack of hookers disappointed me
@AussiePatrick, it’s not the lack of them, they’re everywhere, it’s just that your character will be offered the choice and the options are “say no” and “say no rudely” which seems really odd for a single outlaw
I heard it's good, but somebody convince me to buy the first red dead without just saying it's great. I'll probably get it, I own hundreds of games on steam.
@Dephenistrator, I've heard it's too story and cutscene heavy. I've heard a lot of people say it's on the boring side.
@Dongo, yeah, no real fast travel drags it out but still has a lot of fun aspects
@Dephenistrator, It has cowboys, reason enough partner. Yee-haw!
@Dephenistrator, your horses balls will shrink when it gets cold. The level of detail is crazy
@Dephenistrator, you don't need Red dead 1 this one is a prequel
@Strider1321, there's a fast travel thing, but you have to unlock it through camp upgrades
@AussiePatrick, i am wasn't advertising to be filled in, everyone on this app seems to love the game but an empty "it's great" is all I got here. I was asking for someone to tell me why it's great.
Alas, this was a month ago, I am a huge fan if ark survival and their new and possibly game ending dlc came out so I will probably not play anything else until summer
@Dephenistrator, The character Arthur Morgan, is among the best characters of any games I've played. You grow to like him a lot, but still manage to put yourself in his shoes pretty easy. The world around you is full of so many tiny details, most you won't notice, but when you do notice something, you just need to stop for a second and appreciate it. You can choose to be an honorable outlaw or a dishonorable ones, and while the perks for Both sides aren't anything breathtaking, its mostly good for defining your character. The NPC interactions, are stunning. While in most games you get NPCs repeating the same few lines, every interaction feels like a real person. The missions, both main and side are also really good. That's just the SP, haven't played the MP yet.
@Dephenistrator, Red Dead Redemption 1 is a magical experience that no other game has been able to come close to recreating for me. There are a few missions like herding which can be quite frustrating and annoying, but the game’s story and immersion are second to none. Some of the stranger missions still have me thinking about them nearly 8 years later. Its a poetic story, and the ending is incredibly impactful and not at all what you would expect. I wish I could go into more detail, but I don’t want to spoil the story for you. Try the game out, pull through some of the boring side missions, and you will come out with an incredible and unique experience.
@airguitarpro, if it's on steam I'll buy the first one on sale and see how it goes. Thanks for the reviews
Crazy bastard did it
Maybe you can make yourself a better ult.
Don’t you dare sully the name of Red Dead Redemption 2 with Overwatch you swine
