Never understood why these clothes are worn other than to hunt in
That's a weird picture to put with the caption. You'd think they'd put in a kid wearing camo.
@Pigwidgeon, yeah, the picture is strange. There's a shadow, as if someone was there...?
@Pigwidgeon, wait this picture was about a kid wearing camo? Damn that camo so good I wasn't even able to read it.
@Pigwidgeon, *Sigh* I didn't get this was a joke, and honestly thought you were dumb. Then I realized it was I who was dumb... *Sigh* Goodnight, FP
Just constantly bump into them in hallways and act astounded and amazed that you just ran into an invisible object. Never make eye contact or acknowledge anything but their voice.
@TR Infiltrator, You and I are very much alike.
I live in Texas, raised on farm/ranch and love to hunt. Most of my warm clothing is camouflage, so if I wore camo it was because it was colder than hell. Usually though I just wore jeans and my carhartt. The "country kids" that wear nothing but camo are the wannabes. Sorry rant over.
@the real Iron Man74, I agree with you. I have one camo sweatshirt. And I hardly ever wear it. Wranglers and Carhartt when it's cold. Jeans and boots year round.
@goC4yourself, phone, wallet, knife sometimes, always got my hat, and safety glasses in my bag.
@Country Tyler, @the real Iron Man74, yep, I'm with yall. Personally I stick to either combat boots or laced work boots, those slip on type just don't stand up to thick mud well. Losing a boot workin is a PITA. I will rock some flannel on occasion if it's cold enough, but other than that it's jeans, a tshirt, and boots. Quick question, seeing as we seem to be of the same mind, what do yall carry in your pockets on a day to day basis? I'll be happy to list mine should you want to know
@the real Iron Man74, i do usually wear my camo boots year round just because they are good mud boots. Any other time, I wear my Wellington boots and jeans.
@Country Tyler, well now I feel like I overdo it. Lol. In pockets: wallet, cellphone, large folding knife, micro folding knife, keys, pen light, space pen, handkerchief, 3x5" note pad. On my belt: large mutli-tool, small flashlight, colapsible ink pen, wire ties, mini-prybar, Glock 26 and 1 spare magazine.
@goC4yourself, well. I can't carry all that into a school with me xD lol
@goC4yourself, and I can't really fit much in my wrangler front pockets.
@Country Tyler, I wear primarily Levi's for the spacious front pockets. That all fits in real easily with room to spare. As far as carrying all that in school, never stopped me ;) but seriously, when I was in highschool my teachers loved me because I always had a tool for the job between my multi-tool and knife. Granted I'm in a pretty rural small town area so most people don't really care anyway
@Country Tyler, that's a shame. A man should always have a knife. The most versatile tool.
@goC4yourself, yeah... last Monday we had a bomb/shooting threat or somethin, so I can't carry my knife anymore.
@goC4yourself, wallet, keys, phone, and a mid size pocket knife.
@the real Iron Man74, nice, covering all the bases.
@goC4yourself, phone wallet keys (ferro rod and handcuff key) flashlight(thrunite ttn10) metal comb zippo blu (regular zippos run out too fast) and glock 21/ruger lcr
@ShadowDante, nice. I assume you also meant to say a knife of some kind? And a multi-tool is never a bad thing
@goC4yourself, oh crap i cant believe i forgot the knife i knew i was forgetting something i carry a benchmade griptillian with S30V steel i used to carry a leatherman sidekick but broke it working on my ak
@ShadowDante, benchmade? Nice. Too rich for my blood though haha, I'd be afraid I'd lose it. I carry a Cold Steel Voyager XL clip point in the AUS8 steel. Very durable, excellent lockup, have literally cut down small trees with it (not saying it was fast haha.) Carry a little SOG Micron for normal tasks. I happen to have also broken a sidekick, but mine broke while trying to pull a shut gun slug out of a wooden stump. Lol. I now carry a SOG Power Assist and haven't had a single issue.
@ShadowDante, good deal. If you feel the need to carry it on your hip, look into Skinth Solutions. The make custom pouches for just about anything, to be mounted anywhere. That's how I carry my SOG, mini prybar, streamlight micro, colapsible pen, and wire ties. All fit neatly into the pouch.
@goC4yourself, meh it was about $150 but once i got one i cant go back i usually get one around christmas but yeah i was looking for a new multitool and that sog one looks really nice especially for price ill prob buy one to put in my bug out bag
@goC4yourself, well now I usually wear my slip on boots but that all depends on the whether as well if there is mud I break out my combat boots always wranglers for me usually a T-shirt or if I'm going out a good pearl snap always does nicely along with either my longhorns hat or my Stetson and that depends on occasion
@cowboy1984, my job keeps me running and in the mud too much for slip on boots. Sure would like to wear em though, would make going in and out of the house much easier.
You see a kid in camo just do your dumbest southerner voice possible and be like "oh my lord what happened, why's you just a floating head boy"
There's just a floor, why?
I don't get it, there's no one wearing camo in the picture
Yes, that is exactly what they think, and how camo works.
Being from the south I must say that we wear camo out because probably 50% of our clothes is hunting gear. And we just don't give a shiiit
I don't see who you are talking about.
My little brother would wear camo and would think he had turned invisible but we tricked him for the longest time by acting like we didnt see him. he stopped once we said why we could see him was because we saw is shoes
I never was big on hunting camo but old school army camo cargo shorts are the best! I still have a couple pairs but after about 10 years they are slowly dying... One by one..
Deers are colorblind ... Mind blown
as a redneck, I can confirm this. one kid wore a camo duct tape tux to the homecoming dance.
Deer don't attack. They run like hēll
@surruhOMG, watch when animals attack and I bet you'll change your mind on your comment
Woah this looks just like the floor in the cafeteria of my middle school...is this just a generic floor pattern?
@Ms Atomic Bomb, nvm i think it is just generic...oops
Living in Kentucky I can say this is extremely true
I am from Mississippi and I can confirm…Actually they blend in pretty well with their classmates
You gotta be prepared for anything, y'know?
