@HenDogg, at E3 2011(?) Sony was shilling the new PlayStation move. Now, smart enough to realize they were completely copying the Wii, they decided to do the only thing they could: attack Kinect. They made fun of Kinect's lack of buttons, saying the PlayStation Move is for those who "don't want to catch a red ball", referring to the Project Natal demo showing a guy using what would become the Kinect camera to catch a red ball onscreen and play with it.

@Plaidman, what the wii u outsold nothing the ps4 outsold current wii u day one. So yeah if a legitimate point is thumbs downed because it is against Nintendo then this community is f,cked what's so great about Nintendo? The wii had awful third party because it was gimmicky and all the first party games could charitably describes as a new game and uncharitably described as another f#cking game by Nintendo that uses the same formula and at most adds three new features and overhypes the extent of the feature. And they are very simple for modern forms of their games. I don't care if pokemon is now in 3d or has mega evolutions nor do I care that pikmin now has 3 astronauts and a juice bar. Nor do I care that Mario can now multiply and become a cat since they took the 2d formula and simply let it go in turns so the levels appear more complicated than they are. And at this point I wish we just had the two consoles that actually sell. And getting a wii u was easy to get so false.

How can Nintendo use this argument anymore? Maybe initially in the days of the Nintendo 64 and PS1. But ever since the PlayStation 2, Sony (and Microsoft actually with the XBox) have branched out, done their own thing, and have both been far and away better than anything Nintendo has done in the last decade. They're revolutionizing the gaming industry. Nintendo is just over in the corner yelling: REMEMBER ME!!!

@AmericanBacon, Not really, they are mostly improving the hardware, Nintendo are still the company that are inventing the other two are still copying them. Nintendo can't fight with S&M with power but only with invention. Sony and Microsoft is needed for the competition but Nintendo are needed for the other two to improve bo matter what sales numbers Nintendo have

@AmericanBacon, you actually said Sony and Microsoft are revolutionising the gaming industry? Remember the Wii controller? A few years later came the Play Station Move, and Kinect (I know Kinect is different, but same kinda games were released) Xbox one doesn't seem much different at all to the Xbox 360, I don't call that revolution
