"So I started blasting"
I read a story where he was actually very nice to her when not recording and had to take her in in real life because something terrible had happened to her family or home.
@RiffRaff, her mom was sick in the hospital, so he showed her an advance screening so she could see it before she passed away.
@Suicide Squad Sucks, yeah there was that story as well but Danny went above and beyond to make sure Matilda was taken care of.
@Suicide Squad Sucks, not only that, but they took her in so her dad could spend time with her mom at the hospital, they were surrogate parents to her during and after filming.
This is literally how I imagine everyone that says this is
@Not him again, ok boomer
I'm finding this comeback to be uncreative, and veeeeeery annoying. Surely I can't be the only one?
@TheKen42, No you're not. I find it exceptionally hilarious because the same person who would say ok boomer is also the kind of person who would decry ageism and that irony seems totaly lost on them.
@Kliment Voroshilov, so you discredit a stereotype by using another? Clever.
@ThePandaPool , I suppose you could describe it that way. I look at it more as trying to expose their own cognitive dissonance that they seem blinded to.
Love it. Matilda is a classic
Is this going to turn into another pet wallet?
boomers built this country little runt scrubs ruined it
@Glossary , well technically the greatest generation built modern America and boomer's just kind of coasted off of them.
@Kliment Voroshilov, just as much of an opinion as mine . although i love the greatest gen
@Glossary , Its not a matter of opinion though. America began forming in the guise we see it today shortly after world war II when the levers of power were squarely in the hands of the greatest generation. The next biggest change was probably the start of the computer age which I would credit to gen X.
@Kliment Voroshilov, “which i would credit to” aka opinion. that’s a fun one though and your entitled to believe it
@Glossary , What is an opinion?
@Kliment Voroshilov, this is just what you think. whether it’s true or not is totally impossible to figure out. it’s just your opinion
@Glossary , Ok, an opinion is not just a statement of what you think. It's a statement of the facts as you see them. I.E your opinion ought to contain a statement of fact. Otherwise it becomes a preference.
@Kliment Voroshilov, you’ve given zero facts. you’ve just made a statement. what you think the “guise of america” is an opinion. freaking out at me isn’t gonna stop your boomer dad from being disappointed in your liberal arts degree. THATS a fact
@Glossary , Are you determined to get your little dopamine kick out of insulting randos on the internet? Cause as far as I was concerned we were having a civil argument about the difference between facts, opinions and preferences, but you apparently are incapable of comprehending that distinction.
And so many assumptions, all of them wrong.
My parents are gen Xrs
My dad got a poly sci degree and spent 20 years in retail so he's really low bar.
And I'm in STEM actually, Chemical Engineering to be more precise. I'm working with a company that produces Styrene for use in blow molded plastics.
So maybe next time stop talking before you make an utter fool out of yourself ok bud?
@Kliment Voroshilov, give me the spark notes version i’m not even gonna read that novel you typed out
@Glossary , Do you have a long history of relying on spark notes? Because that would go a decent way to explaining your current predicament.
