The only appropriate response
Don’t give ultimatums. They usually backfire and then no one’s happy.
@Kamitha, ultimatums are just breakups with the option of pretending that you gave them a choice.
@Kamitha, So don't give me ultimatums. Otherwise, I'll break up with you.
@Kamitha, germany dud
I never thought of it like this. This could be applied to many other things too.
Sure there may be other issues in the relationship causing problem. So you address those and find balance. However making someone choose between a hobby and her isn’t right. Unless they were hiding their hobbies. Clearly gaming was part of his life. So shes either trying to change him or is just looking for an excuse to end the relationship. No one should have to give up a hobby they’ve had before they got together for another.
Lasting relationships aren’t about molding someone into what you want. Small changes are one thing. Changing hobbies or what someone likes and dislikes are another. It always ends badly. Either you accept someone for who they are or end it.
@Seohn, Well said good sir/madam
"And to conclude, my ancestors are smiling on me, imperial. Can you say the same?"
Only a Sith deals in absolutes!
I respek whamen But do they respek me?
@Sambob, ere tokin for waymon respek, veri gud
I agree with everyone here that she shouldn't give ultimatums. But I do feel like our generation has turned into a bunch of man-children. Its fine to like video games but if your women feels like you spend too much time with your "hobby" then maybe you should cut it back a bit.
"Also, I faked it last night"
Always choose the thing the didn't make you choose.
“Hmmmmm..... that’s tough choice, but I’m going to have to go video games. Bye!”
Do you know how many times I’ve tried to express those feelings but could not find the cohonez? Two.... the answer is two times.
