I just bought a '13 Taurus SHO and it's got a 365hp Twin Turbo V6 & awd straight from the factory. For less than 15k (before taxes). And it's basically a cop car so people move out of your way on the highway. Best purchase I ever made.
@Nudity Industries, I really want to get one. I secretly loved the old models. Right now I’m enjoying my diesel F250. I love how much powers you can get out of them with a little, ahem, modification.
@Nudity Industries, but they're so heavy they definetly should have been a coup and shed a few hundred pounds
@Nudity Industries, oh God its another Taurus guy
@CrazyRightWinger, at least I'm not an EcoBoost Mustang owner that thinks his mustang is hotter shjt than a 5.0
@Nudity Industries, I'm just joking I was in a car discord and this SHO guy would not shut up it was like an inside joke
had my fair share of cars I modiefied and played with, you can sink a lot of cash before you know it... but I’m a truck guy in the end! Always have been
As tempting as it to throw money into either of my cars I want them stock so they can last as long as they can.
@megamanx181x, Is nice when people keep their weedeaters stock.
@megamanx181x, modified cars last longer from what I’ve learned
@whatthefrank, depends how far modifications you’re going. after I had my 06 GTO fixed from an accident they sent it to a Chevy dealership to replace the ECU. The mechanic there told me he had a highly modified GTO making over 600 HP and what not and he missed the days of just driving it normally without engine codes
@seeUpee, and which of my cars are you labeling as a weedeater...?
@megamanx181x, ...the 4-banger you have ahahaahahaha
@seeUpee, the Germans perfected the inline four and not embarrass themselves like Honda and Toyota!
@megamanx181x, yeah no I’m going basic mods for a daily. For a racer, yeah I’m definitely fvcking with the computer, turbo charger, weight distribution all dat
@megamanx181x, I’m not saying they are bad engines... but dear Lord do the Germans just looooove to over engineer everything. I will stick by the Japanese any day
@seeUpee, that is true, changing the timing belt from the top of the engine bay is ridiculous
@megamanx181x, you did the timing belt on it? Oh man... I’m so terribly sorry you went thru that. I did the timing chain to my 02 GTI VR6 back in the day... I freaking cry man! Fvck that car! Fvck that timing chain... I dropped cars transmissions easier than doing that job. Why? Like why did they over do things and make it more complicated? Ugh... all bc of a ticking noise... didn’t fix it either... thought the chain was stretched out and caused it... last time I will do a timing chain on any German car. Did the timing belt to a civic... was done in less than two hours after my buddy checked on the timing
That's why you get something stock and sporty with a warranty. Then again that's a decision that only actual adults tend to make unless mommy and daddy bought it, in which case it doesnt matter anyways.
@ThePandaPool , f150 raptor all day
@ThePandaPool , or you're like me and a struggling early life adult that loves cars but doesn't have a crapton of money, still have some cool cars though
@FullMetalAlcoholist, absolutely. Fun on a budget is still fun. That and not needing to compensate with the fastest and most expensive is nice.
@ThePandaPool , does my prius c meet the requirements of a fun sporty car hahaha. It goes 0 - 60..... Eventually
@ThePandaPool , or you get a cheap and reliable Daily Driver and then put your fun money into something that’s not going to be reliable, but doesn’t have to be.
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, dude yes... all day!!!
Our taste on something have finally matched
@Spetsnaz , I am doing well enough that my daily driver is KINDA fun as a Fiesta ST, but my fun cars are HEAVILY modified VW Bugs. I do think i may be selling them to get either a new Bronco, or a Factory 5. I'm still really torn as to which one.
@ThePandaPool , That's why I bought a 300C. 5.7L Hemi, 30+ mpg on the highway, 19 speaker 900W audio system. Don't really need to do anything else to it. The damn thing has heated, and cooled cup holders.
@satan of the north, oh man... like the new one with LED tail lights? Those babies are gorgeous. Can’t go wrong with that Hemi. If it can pull a truck can’t imagine in that car. Fvcker must fly! Interesting choice for satan of the north... thought a big SUV would be more your style
@seeUpee, Nah, I'm a car guy. Big luxurious V8 RWD for me. Ya, 2018 with the LED tail lights. I didn't think I would like the 8 speed over the 5 speed I had in my old 300, but damn she goes like a bat outta hell, but also sips fuel while you're cruising.
@satan of the north, freaking nice man! Hope she is good to ya. I had my eye on one of those for a while... mainly bc of the Hemi engine and loooove the style. Think it was an SRT one that I jizzed on...but ended up upgrading my truck to a newer instead.
@seeUpee, Hey, that truck ain't bad either...as long as it's also got a Hemi
@satan of the north, nope... one has a Coyote engine and the other one a Power Stroke.... one for play other for work... have nothing against the Hemi or Cummings... both engines are spectacular... is the electronics behind them that I do not trust
I modify every car I own. I will do it until the end of time ❤️
Cars are like women: if you want variety you need more than one.
Guess how much money I save on tires because I dont peel out
Racing every car on the street in a modified car since 2018
Me with multiple vehicles enjoying it all
