@Richard Cypher, you dont have to feel sad. But you could empathize. Addiction affects poor and rich alike and has taken many lives. And if you cant empathize for that, then maybe the fact that a (24?) Year old died. People die everyday I get it but the less people care about it the less will be done to prevent it in the future. And yes @K1l drugs need to stop being glorified.

@T9x, I would empathize more if it was someone who was in a rough spot with nowhere to turn just trying to get through life, not some guy who has plenty of money(and therefore more resources at his disposal to find help) who makes the conscious choice to do drugs for his own pleasure. His age is irrelevant but I’m curious what you mean by “the less people care about it the less will be done to prevent it in the future.” I thought it was common knowledge that drug abuse isn’t a good idea. I find it incredibly difficult to feel bad for someone losing their life to an entirely preventable choice they made in their personal life

Am I the only one who thinks it's his own fault that he overdosed and that saying "He didn't deserve to be taken" is some dumb bullshjt, considering he took his own life. Suicide is selfish and hurts and scars the people around you for life. Thinking about a father who lost his son because his son got depressed because a girl didn't like him, so he commited suicide. I fully sympathise with and understand depression and suicide, I just think people are forgetting that no one but himself made the choice to overdose. God didn't take him, Mac Miller took him.
I love how all of these include Harambe
