Guys let's be honest, that guy just really freaking loves giving lawn haircuts.
I mean, you can probably do your own yard work, but I do agree that veterans are consistently given the shaft.
@Doctor Yak, not necessarily. While there are prostheses for limbs and such. Brain, Spinal or even PTSD could cause a simple task as lawn mowing to become impossible.
@Doctor Yak, the system isn’t perfect, but we’re all very blessed to have a grateful nation for the most part where people respect the sacrifices that service members make
@Doctor Yak, only the disabled ones which are the ones that need help. I got a free ride at college and paid 2k per month on top of that for my time. But I got out in one piece. I’ve got friends struggling because they didn’t get out without trauma.
I follow this guy on twitter and he’s a excellent person with excellent character he travels around and helps people who can’t now their lawns, and recruits kids to do it for the people that can’t after he leaves the city he was in, just an all around great human being
Just gonna be real he sounds slightly mentally ill, there’s other 10x more effective ways to support veterans and yourself than that, but hey a good deed is a good deed I guess.
@Cloudff7, always someone bitching about how someone chooses to spend their time helping others.
@GunLovingMerican, need to get used to it. No matter what it is, there will ALWAYS be someone bitching
@GunLovingMerican, Yup, it’s usually the same people sitting on their couch not doing anything at all for anyone
@Cloudff7, "this guy decided to help people in a way that I wouldn't. He must be mentally ill"
So... Alaska too eh?
