Good Guy Satan
Watching Lucifer on Netflix, so can confirm, he got the short end of the stick in the PR department
I challenge all Judeo-Christian theists to actually read your book of fables and make a list of all of the "evil" things Satan does, that weren't at your god's behest.
I daresay you will be disappointed.
History is writing by the victors.
We never heard his side of the story, it’s so bias
I mean, he's in it, so why is he reading it for the first time?
@TheStarHawk, Its not uncommon for famous people to be written about without their knowledge and only find out the content at a later date. And im guessing Satan here is just realizing that, despite not even being in the bible really, he is blamed for a lot of unfair things. So i can understand his reaction. Which is a shame because Satan is really just, such a good guy. His reputation was really tarnished by the bible, i would go so far as to call it an unjust smear campaign. Once you get to know him you realize his reputation is misleading. He is actually quite a nice and reasonable guy and not at all the evil being the bible depicts.
@LaDarkProphet, I do have to say that I LOVE all the stories that go for the "sympathy for the devil" idea. It's always so much fun.
@ThePandaPool , I dont know about any Sympathy but i do know about Dancing with the devil....in the pale moonlight
@LaDarkProphet, well I know all about having some Sympathy for the Devil, so if you meet him, have some courtesy, have some sympathy and some taste. Use all your well learned politesse or he’ll lay your soul to waste
@LaDarkProphet, ikr he’s such a cool guy!
Interesting logic by some of y’all. Satan quotes and misquotes scripture more than anyone.
@jaski, Really? You've met him? Talked to him? Asked him about it? Cause otherwise it sounds like a lot of he said she said bull shiiite
@LaDarkProphet, how profound (wannabe) you sound. Have you ever met George Washington? Bunch of he said she said to me bull shiiite.
Comparing an actual historical figure to a mythological entity is laughably asinine.
Like... Instead of comparing apples and oranges your comparing apples to race cars. Its not even the same playing field lol.
We can, reasonably, attest to the fact George Washington really existed. Historical documents, physical evidence etc. You cannot do that for the proverbial boogeyman for a archaic religion.
Another point you fail to grasp is that, according to most Christian beliefs and ideologies, God and Lucifer are very real, physical, entities. So you could, in theory, actually ask Yahew, Jehovah, Satan, Lucifer etc. etc. Any question you could conceivably have. But since you have not done so and cannot do so, because let's be real their both mythological fairy tales nothing more, you must go off what a single book tells you.
And I doubt a book specifically meant to praise one and bash the other is wholly unbiased.
Also, also. Your god as about.... 1000× the body count. ✌
@jaski, And for the record? I was making a Limp Bizkit reference. Toodles.
@LaDarkProphet, Limp Bizkit…that explains the idiocy of the reply. You would fail philosophy and debate with that response let alone common sense.
@LaDarkProphet, look up historicity of Jesus while you’re looking up George Washington. Jesus spoke a bit about Satan. Read the City of God by Augustine as well when you get the chance and stay off Wikipedia.
@jaski, The evidence for a man with the name Jesus living in that time period is extraordinarily scarce and most of it is hearsay. Pretty much all "historical" evidence is writers talking about some dude that lived 50+ years before.
But weather Jeebus was a real person or not is irrelevant. We were discussing Satan, not Jeebus. Someone else talking about a mythological deity is irrelevant to the conversation.
Fail philosophy? Dude your weak arse strawman makes this entire conversation pointless. Good luck with your bs
