Story time...A tree took down my power lines and cable lines 2 weeks ago. Called verizon to get my cable fixed and they said they could come in 4 days between 9am and 12pm...I told them that the wires were blocking the patch to the front door (literally it was impossible to get to my front door) and they said the best they could do was in 4 days between 8am-12pm. So I called Optimum (the only other option in my area) and they said they would come the next morning to switch me. Well Optimum never came and when I called them about it they said the best they could do was the day after verizon said. So I waited for verizon instead. Later that day a verizon truck drove by and serviced my neighbors (whose wires were not taken down/hanging/blocking anything). I went outside to ask if they could do mine, and no they could not, because they did not have the work order which was scheduled to be delivered on the day of the service. So flash back to the day before when I called verizon,

@peep, They promised to redirect any trucks in my area to me if they were there before my scheduled appointment (liars!). So I called them after this truck left, and they said that they could not redirect that particular truck because it was an emergency truck (take in for a moment that I have a cop living in my house, and a door is not accessible versus my neighbors had everything working except a couple of channels on their tv). So I continue to wait for my appointment. The next day, another verizon truck comes to service another neighbor who again is only missing a couple of channels on their tv (let me reiterate, I had no service and my front door was blocked). Again no ability to service me... Finally my day comes around and 12pm passes by, no truck... I call verizon to ask where they are. This is a direct quote "we redirected your truck to service another, due to emergancy." WHAT?!? The truck finally came at 4pm the next day. I asked where the truck got redirected to,

@peep, that is insane. Maybe they thought you were lying about the severity of your problem. Or your problem was so extensive that they needed a big time slot for your appointment. But even if that was the case. Them redirecting your truck to a bs emergency when they wouldn't do that for you is unforgivable. In all honesty. All those other customers were probably like "OH my god i don't have all my channels that I'm paying for this is an emergency" and if you were more reasonable they probably wanted to service the djcks first.
NO, I CAN'T WAIT AROUND MY HOUSE FOR ALL OF NOVEMBER!
