@seeUpee, even the girls and gay guys because everyone likes boobs
Even after playing dark souls I still don’t get the appeal it’s a fair amount harder I guess and I did struggle through sometimes but the lack of story you can interpret without a guide is unappealing and there’s no true motivation for any of it why are we lighting fire because some nameless guy told us to I just find that if my guy isn’t motivated I can’t be motivated
@eleven, The lore is obscure, the enemies are deadly, and the mechanics are different from anything I had experienced before. But the level of control over the character, the way timing, distance, stamina, and all these little factors come into play. I deeply enjoy the combat, once I figured it out. Then it’s all about exploration, I had to learn all the new enemies when exploring each new area. Work out how they think and move, and how my build can beat them. Making adjustments if needed. Once I visited enough areas I had a feel for the depth of the world, battling enemies so far away, then somehow I am back at firelink, it’s peaceful, I take on some old enemies to see how good i’ve gotten. It’s just a massive feedback loop of struggling and improving yourself, just a massive puzzle with so many ways to solve it. The lore is of course it’s own beast, but once invested in the gamplay, I was quite pleased to learn how deep the world was that I played in.
@ZweihanderNLeaveHer, I just happen to like story a fair amount like if I’m at the end of the game and there’s some chaos god threatening the world I’m not gonna stop just to do sidequests I know that I have an unlimited amount of time to beat the game but the character doesn’t so why would they be looking for collectables when said god is about to destroy the world the only exception to this I have ever made is Majora’s Mask where time from both perspectives is literally unlimited, combat wise it’s ok I used large heavy swords (the four kings were an absolute joke with my build) and magic and there are aspects that were it up to me would make it into zelda like every weapon type functioning differently warhammers knock enemies down, swords have a combo, nobody uses knives, spears stabbed, halbreds had wide swinging arc, and ok great swords and ultra greatswords functioned identically but in all honesty I didn’t find combat all that fun either I like flashy and dark souls
@ZweihanderNLeaveHer, couldn’t be less flashy without removing magic I just improved my magic and sword (zweihander) and not much beyond that I tended to only struggle against groups, gimmicky enemies like the basilisk, or enemies next to pits beyond that I didn’t really find much variance in the combat as for rematching enemies if I was done with an area I tended to avoid unnecessary trouble I started new game+ for one reason only so I could get my revenge on the tauros demon who killed me more times than I’d rather admit in all honesty it’s probably just not my kind of game I beat it for personal challenge but I likely won’t play it again nor would I look into the series again however you do enjoy it and you know what good on you for enjoying something I can’t
It's a TRAAAAAAPPPPP!!!
@SirLoveday, no that’s her brother
@eleven, lol I didn't mean that kinda "trap" I just mean it's an illusion
