If it weren't for the Comedy Central logo I'd probably assume this was real
@Chicken0War, I just imagine the guy playing trump thinking about how this is the highlight of his career
@Chicken0War, I'm still assuming this is real
@Donald Drumpf, I mean I'd feel pretty happy.
Pretty much sums up his tenure in office.
@TenorTwoPointO, surrounded by children bouncing on balls?
That sums up my weekends
@DwayneTheCockJohnson, Uhh... I don't think someone with your name should be making that comment.
@NotCaveJohnson, at least it's not CaveJohnson
That was nice of Comedy Central to put up their logo so people would think this didn’t really happen.
This is making me laugh too hard
The best part about this is, those kids will always think the real Trump came into their school/daycare and acted like a complete spoiled brat child.
@iOS10, yep, naivete is awesome.
So this is how he thinks up all those executive orders
Great show... Thursday nights on Comedy Central.
Ok, so here is the problem with this: Comedy Central (and the entertainment industry in general) NEVER did things like this with Obama. They did it with Bush, took an 8 year hiatus and are now back at it with Trump. I don't think it's the end of the world that they make fun of POTUS this way. It is lazy at this point as they've made this joke a million times already but it's really not that big a deal. The media does the same thing with their reporting which is to me a bigger problem. So while I don't have a big problem with how the media is treating Trump currently, although I think they, and Trump could be a little more cordial with one another. I'd rather see a left biased media cover a republican POTUS and a right biased media cover a democrat POTUS. My problem with all of it is the double standard. Obama is in office and it's dignity and respect, and who are you to question things. Trump/Bush and it's question everything and everything he says and does is a lie.
@Dyslexic eman resu, If you're only looking at the fact that they were all once president, then I would be inclined to agree with you, but you are comparing three completely different presidents in character. Obama tended not to start fires with the media. Bush was seen as idiotic, but a good person: basically a guy with good intentions and bad execution, which led to his criticism. Trump is someone who "tells it like it is," even when he's wrong, he doubles down on his mistake. When have you ever heard of Trump saying "well guys, turns out I was wrong and I'm sorry?" So Trump is easy to criticize as well. Obama simply has a better character than Trump (character, not necessarily presidency to be clear). Finally, Obama was made fun of a TON for being "muslim" and "illegal," and a "terrorist" (in fact, I recall Trump being a huge proponent of trying to get Obama to provide his birth certificate). So no, it's not double standards, stop perpetuating that false notion.
@Dyslexic eman resu, how many comedians do you know have a conservative viewpoint? None, there's nobody to write the material.
@airguitarpro, perpetuating a false notion? Are you seriously trying to claim that there isn't an obvious left bias in the media and Hollywood? And I'm talking in the "mainstream" as it's obvious that both sides have there fringe looneys.
@Dyslexic eman resu, I'm not even talking about media bias, I'm talking about the effects of one's personality and character having a substantial impact on the lens which people view that person with. Comparing how media covers Trump versus Obama is like comparing how media covered Calvin Coolidge versus Theodore Roosevelt: they are two completely different characters. It makes little sense to blame it all on "that darn leftist media bias."
@airguitarpro, all I'm saying is that "darn leftist media" and Hollywood is why we have trump. This is what they do to Republicans and it's a virtual 180 when it comes to democrats. They did it to Romney who was legitimately one of the most decent people to run in modern history (put y'all back in chains, binders full of women). Didn't matter, he was evil, a buffoon etc... so don't give me this garbage it's because of Trump's questionable character that they are doing this now. You'll get no argument from me over Trump's lack of character and if your point is merely that these jokes have some merit this time around, ok fair enough. But don't pretend this wouldn't be happening in another republican presidency, cause it would. At the very least you should acknowledge the boy who cried wolf role that the media and Hollywood have played in getting trump elected. I'll let you have the last word if you want. Just want to say I appreciate the discussion, and I truly mean that.
@Dyslexic eman resu, I appreciate your response and lack of hostility. I genuinely view everyone in this community as a sort of extended family. My point isn't to take political sides but to expand conversation. I whole-heartedly agree that leftist media, and Hollywood actors/actresses who leaned heavily left and voiced it, are a significant reason why Trump was elected, but it's like I have stated, it is not "THE" factor. There is no single factor which we can point to and say "yup, thats the thing that led us to where we are today." Rather it is a myriad of complexities which we must take into account. When we paint with a broad brush, we tend to be much less accurate in what we say, which can perpetuate misinformation and kill conversation through disconnect with those who disagree. I like to promote conversation and be as factual as humanly possible. I think Romney was a good guy, but I also think him being an incredibly wealthy republican candidate fed too much into the
@airguitarpro, admittedly wrongful and inaccurate, stereotypes of a rich conservative man who only looks out for himself in the end. Essentially, his problem (like Hillary), was that he was incredibly hard to relate to, at least in my opinion. I hope that makes sense, if not, let me know! In the end, I'm not infallible, and I love hearing other people's perspectives, and learning from them. Have a great day!
Liberals truly have so sense of respect for the office if this is how they portray the president. Replace this skit with obongo and people would be getting fired within the hour.
@Bobaganusche88, to respect the office of the president you have to respect the person holding that office? That doesn't sound right to me.
And judging by the fact that you called obama "obongo" I think you'd be inclined to agree
Donald trump is a spoiled Russian child
@Bobaganusche88, There's a difference between having respect for the office and the person in the office. The office does deserve respect, but this president? Not so much, considering how disrespectful he's been. No matter what you think of "Obongo" he never called a woman a pig, he never bragged about groping women or walking into their dressing rooms, nor has he ever stated he would date his own daughter if they werent related. Nor do I recall him calling people losers all the time either.
@Bobaganusche88, if only Trump had any ounce of respect for anyone.
@Bobaganusche88, let's not forget how obama was very respectively called a terrorist, Kenyan, Muslim, dictator, weak leader, and alien. People shjt on the president.
@Bobaganusche88, rofl, complains about lack of respect for a 71 year old man child with the vocab of a grade schooler, calls obama obongo. Hypocrisy is two sentences.
@Bobaganusche88, I get the point you're trying to make, but in order for your words to mean anything, you can't call people out for disrespecting this president and then IMMEDIATELY disrespect the previous. I was no fan of Obama, but even so, your entire argument's credibility is ruined because of your hypocrisy. Not trying to start any fights or anything, just trying to explain how to improve your argument. :)
@Bobaganusche88, you call for respect for Trump while disrespecting Obama... you fvck head.
@Bobaganusche88, Donald Johnny Trump doesn't respect the office, why should we
@TheHippie52, so following how Trump feels is a good thing?
@Bobaganusche88, wasn't trump also the one who repeatedly made a spectacle about obamas birth certificates also there was "thanks Obama" and protests with Obama having a hitler stash for his healthcare plan, and I do believe that was all the conservative side not the liberals. Neither side respects each other get used to it or stop bjtching.
@CynicalSirr, i mean he is our leader right?
@Runnin with scissors, he holds the position, but we don't have to agree with everything.
@CynicalSirr, no I agree on that but as our country's leader doesn't he set a precedent for perceived behavior? It's part of the responsibility of the job.
These things piss me off... If you would've done something like this to Obama you would've gotten fired, but since it's Trump it's now ok to mock your president. Hypocritical pansies! Trump may not be that good at being president but at least he is not signing peace treaties with North korea like Hillary would've done.
@Japarker86, please refer to @bobaganushe88's comment
@Japarker86, you know the right kept saying he was an Muslim from Africa for the entire 8 years right? Both sides whine like babies when they don't have their dog in the throne and both are guilty of hypocrisy. In the words of our venerable Dolan, "both sides are at fault."
So apparently random section literally just turned into new section... And this was the frmirst one... Anyone experience this too?
That's one of those bouncy balls with a dildo on it. He brought it from home so he could ride it in front of the children.
