Tywin Lannister is was probably one of the most intelligent, tactful and level headed person in the series. He only tried to do what was was best for his family if you consider that a bad thing.
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, he routinely tormented his youngest son despite him being the most capable of his children. His death was brought about because he couldn’t stop mocking him.
@LeafOnTheW1nd, we all have faults
@Drunk Pantless Uncle,
He literally used his grandson's death as a method to execute his youngest son.
@LeafOnTheW1nd, And also because he banged his son’s girlfriend.
@LeafOnTheW1nd, there is a theory that Tyrion is a Targaryen cause the mad king had a thing for Tywins wife.
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, i do, because in the process he totally messed up the realm, making it potentially harder for his family in the long run. I mean, he’s dead, the entire next generation of lannisters is dead, two lannisters have turned their backs on the throne they’ve claimed, and then all the debt they’re accruing from however long their conflicts have been going on.
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, would a really intelligent person treat Tyrion so badly? Hes so blinded by his own sons disability hed never have the where with all to lead any kingdom. Fvck that guy.
updated to avoid longer debate. tldr: in that time frame, most dad's would treat a dwarf son the same or worse. I don't condone it, I absolutely love tryion and hope he's secretly a targarian.
@Patamon, Wasn’t the idea of him being a Targaryen meant to support the fact that there would need to be three Targaryens to command the three dragons? We don’t exactly have three dragons anymore, do we?
@LeafOnTheW1nd, i still love the character, even more so because charles dance is a god of acting
@Drunk Pantless Uncle, however, he was ruthless and remorseless. Many of the things he did were good for his family, but he wasn't admirable or honorable. Ned Stark was.
@Nellybert , well really it was because he had said the word “whore” after Tyrion had told him not to say the word again and the fact that he had tyrions wife gangraped by his guards and let him believe that she was a prostitute that Jaime had hired for him. In reality she wasn’t and Tywin had basically done it because he hated Tyrion and took every opportunity to humiliate him.
@LeafOnTheW1nd, Well if you’re gonna get all “I’ve read the books and remember details” on this, yeah. I was going with the ‘condensed for TV’ version. 😋
@Nellybert , Either way he got what was coming to him.
@LeafOnTheW1nd, Indeed. He was a great character and brilliantly portrayed, but he had to die.
FACT: I'm a certified retard
"What about Metroid?"
"Yeah the protagonist is-"
"Samus Aran, I know, the destructive super-soldier with the phallic arm cannon who thinks he can just colonize other planets for big corporations."
@SimonPetrikov, did you actually have that conversation or are you making it up?
@Drunk with Comments, I'm making it up, kind of a reverse "Zelda is a boy" meme
@SimonPetrikov, isn’t Samus a she?
Look at me. I am the king now.
Honestly, women are sometimes dressed the way they are in games is because logically they'd be able to move more and be agile.
@The Real Grim Reaper, as we all know showing your cleavage makes you much more agile
@LeafOnTheW1nd, I'm not talking about that. And honestly that's the worst counterargument I've heard since there's been literal feminists who've protested with their breasts out and flapping in the wind. Besides, what I'm saying is that the reason why they look "sexy" is because literally any guy would be into that, as in what the character looks like, without the developers intending it to be sexual. Not all guys are into girls that are a skinny, not all guys like girls that a chubby. It all just depends on what the guy is into. And by being more agile, I not saying that they're wearing close to nothing, I'm saying that due to them having less baggage and more movability of the limbs allows them to be agile.
@LeafOnTheW1nd, also, I just now realized that you probably were joking, but I'm just gonna leave my comment in case a real feminist sees it on the app
@The Real Grim Reaper, okay A. I was making a joke because games frequently put female characters in sexualised clothing and it sure as hell isn’t for agility. B. You can have a character model that looks agile without it being sexualised. C. I am a feminist.
It looks like a woman is giving the speech though.
@ios11, I think they know that. The point isn't any less valid.
@ios11, it looks to be Anita Sarkesian. If you have no idea who this is, you're lucky. I work in game design and am tired of this vapid cvnt
